SAN DIEGO -- A Superior Court judge ordered San Diego police to return some property that was seized from the Oceanside home of an anti-illegal immigration activist.

Note that the search warrant under which items were seized from Jeff Schwilk was supported by an affidavit which was full of alleged facts which were court adjudged as lies by the detective concerned, in an investigation into vandalism of an illegal alien camp, which was trashed by marauders. The illegal aliens were camped out in tents and squatter huts in McGonigle Canyon.
Jeff's minuteman group were pressuring immigration authorities to act to enforce current immigration law.
Any bets that the dick's name was something like Mendoza ?

Is it legally possible to vandalize illegal structures? Could I “vandalize” what amounts to a trash heap?

....Could I vandalize what amounts to a trash heap?...
How about mental vandalization? Merely thinking about the act is a hate crime.

This story from the local paper said 300 were living there. They even celebrated mass at a makeshift chapel!
The story ran last August
