  For this weeks Canteen Music Dedication we move along the timeline to "Nu Metal" music.

Nu metal, also called new metal, aggro metal or nü metal, is a musical genre that has origins in the mid 1990s. It typically fuses influences from the grunge and alternative metal of the 1990s with electronic music and various heavy metal genres, most often thrash metal and groove metal.

The selections below are just a sampling. This music is provided for the entertainment of our Troops, Veterans, Allies & their families!

Enjoy the varity of musical selections that the Canteen Deejays have provided throughout the thread. All DeeJays are happy to fill requests dedicated to the troops if we can.

For a Friday 13th, things have gone quite well.

Had a kid get red bellied toad juice in his eye.

That was a new one for me.

The cold spell we have just come through killed all the blue berry blooms.

I really do hate to hop in for such a short time, but I've got to get to bed so I can get an early start in the morning and hopefully beat the storm home!
