Hey Joe! I agree. Her handlers are looking out for her best interests - fending off critics that say she shoots off her fat mouth.

Did you have to post the pic? I’m eating and enjoying a Leinie’s here.

Rosie and the rest show no understanding about free speech. Imus was fired for his comments by his private employer, based presumably on a clause in his contract. Our Constitution protects us from government restictions and consequences for our speech, NOT private.
If O'Donnel organized a boycott against say Sean Hannity for his attitude toward gays would she be censoring his speech? No. The schools have done a horrible job of informing our people as to what out protections and responsibilities actually are. Imus's firing may or may not be justified, but it is certainly both legal and no assault on free speech.

Methinks Rosie O’Fathead is a bit nervous...

Bingo! It just dawned on her that her mouthing off her conspiracy theories can get her canned. She’s not defending Imus as much as she’s seeking cover for herself.

HOWEVER, its refreshing to see someone on the Left able to form an objective opinion. In my opinion, she's just CYA... It validates her extreem opinions...
To: TheLion
"This is just the opening salvo in the lefts agenda to shut down free speech." Yeah but Imus is one of their own. I say let them eat each other.

BTW: I think we need an inverse-Coulter rule for Rosie...any time Rosie is mentioned, a picture of Elisabeth Hasselbeck should be posted... it balances the Karma...
To: gonewt
She’s defending Don Imus because she knows that she’s more despicable than he and the day will come when maybe she’ll be kicked to the curb for slandering white, Anglo-Saxon, Christian men and she’ll need everyone she can get, to come to her defense.

She’s only defending him because he’s not a right-winger.

If Imus had referred to Condi Rice as a “nappy-headed ho,” he would have been universally praised by the Left.

I’m afraid that’s how I see it, even though Rosie is in CYA mode.
Political talk radio criticizing the Establishment is the target.

The only reason she’s objecting is because she knows her butt is on the line as well. She’s covering her a$$ by defending Imus.

Did I get that right, she defending Imus?
I must have been transported to an alternate universe, because Elisabeth Hassebeck was on Hannity & Colmes saying he should of been fired.
To: Uncle Peter
Even a queer hog finds an acorn once in a while. Now she will probably get fired.
