Hard to believe the Gov doesn't get a State Police escort. This was no ordinary hit & run. I don't like his politics, but I hope he's okay. I'd rather defeat these guys at the polls.

I wonder how fast they were going. Gubernatorial motorcades have a reputation for reckless speed. Ask Ed Rendell.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Corzine was elected governor of New Jersey in November 2006, soundly beating Republican businessman Doug Forrester in a race that set records for campaign spending but alienated voters with its mean-spirited politicking. With 97 percent of precincts reporting, Corzine had 53 percent to Forrester's 44 percent.
Any news on his immediate family, his cousins, his distant cousins, or his neighborhood supermarket?

Are they trying to imply that politics had something to do with the crash?

Prayers for Corzine, the successful purchaser of the New Jersey governorship. It’s enough to make one support public financing of elections.

Probably a drunk driving home from Atlantic City. I’ve gotten whacked before on the parkway by a guy falling asleep at the wheel. Nothing serious, but extreme hours of straight gambling plus drinks causes all sorts of havoc on that highway. I’ve seen some nasty, nasty wrecks traveling to and from Atlantic City on the Parkway.
