.....so much to do about nothing. I wonder if the coach of the basketball team ever wandered through the dorms......to hear what todays rap “artists” are saying (calling) women.
It’s ok to call some one a nappy headed hoe (and worse)...as long as your black.

FoxNews just announced.
Good grief this is completely out of hand. And Rosie O’Foumouth continues to spew her anti-American, wackjob conspiracy theories unchallenged, as one of the hags on The View.

I hope the powers that be at the one where you work are less clueless than the ones at the NBC affiliate here on the west coast of Ohio!

As a fellow in the news business, would you please get some of them news folk to hold Rosie O'Donnell to the same standard - at least?
I think more than just a few of us would be more than just a little grateful...

Just when I was worried about terrorists it turns out the “nappy headed hoes” are what we really should be worried about. I saw the clip, he said it in jest and though it was inappropriate we live in a culture of inappropriateness and much worse things go unpunished in the media. I think this is a travesty. We still have Rosie Oddonell saying the most hurtful things on TV and she is serious. She isn’t joking. She is saying without any factual basis that she believes the US manufactured the 9-11 attack. That in my opinion is much more serious than a stupid crude remark clearly intended to be comedic made by Imus but Rosie is right on the money in her commentary about the thought police because she knows her comments have been even more indefensible and hateful.
The real reason Imus is being fired is it is sending a message. Just wait till the next time a conservative host makes an insensitive comment. Just wait. Who would’ve thought Imus would be the one to fall? There is a bit of irony in that.

GE should fire NBC. Dead network.
Imus deserves to be fired for a lot of reasons but not this one.

Seems as if I’m going to go against the general consensus about Imus being fired. I think he deserved it. I happened to have whatever channel he was on this morning on and I didn’t detect any regret for his out of line comment. Nothing but excuses and I happen to think what he said was inexcusable. I don’t care if he’s a supposed shock jock or who he thinks he is, what he said was a put down to women who are in college and so in no way qualify as ho’s and the nappy crap was a direct racial putdown.
Y’know, I never, ever thought I’d agree with Sharpton and it’s scary that I do but I’m not going to apologize for thinking Imus deserves to be fired and got exactly what he deserved.
Maybe some of these yahoo’s who think he didn’t deserve to be fired might think a little differently if their daughters were on the basketball team and his comment was about “homo ho’s” cos after all, that would only be fair right? Any female who’s involved in a sport like basketball must be a lesbian.

Do you think it was mainly an NBC decision or was in something
GE got involved with? I am guessing MSNBC would not do this on their own.
