MSNBC needs to hire some real nappy-headed hos to prove they’re not prejudice.

Both Paul Begala and Barnicle went on his show this week and defended him.
To: X-FID
Sharpton spewing live on MSNBC saying he’s going to hold a “rally” tomorrow outside the CBS studios.
To: Cyropaedia
This is a total rush to judgment. I only watched MSNBC to catch Imus in the morning. They are PC idiots. Would they do the same to the racist Sharpton. Perhaps we should monitor his radio show for content.

He wasn't banned from the airwaves by Congress people. He wasn't banned from the airwaves period. He was dropped by one distributor. He can go to another, and if none will hire him, he can go on shortwave, public access cable, streaming audio or podcast.
Your right to free speech doesn't oblige anyone else to pay you for it.

Fat Al Sharpton showing his influence over the Liberal media.

Me too.
Then, like Howard Stern, Imus will find out exactly how many people would pay to listen to him, instead of those who tuned in because he was free.

CBS will cave. The radio advertisers are pulling their schedules now, also. And his liberal friends won’t dare appear on his show now that Obama-Hillary have decreed him personna-non-grata. Imus is toast.

“And they all think they’re such good people, the one’s who wouldn’t forgive Don and help him grow from his mistakes.”
They were told by someone to look, feel and be offended.

Both Paul Begala and Barnicle went on his show this week and defended him.Right out of central casting.

Al...just said that some people have asked about rap stars.
He said “yes, we should BEGIN to have that DISCUSSION”!!
So..raps stars only have to be talked about...kinda like Pelosi wants to TALK to Assad and Nutjob..
But, she wants to impeach Pres. Bush!!!
LOLOL

This could have involved the government. The FCC started an investigation and MSNBC may have caved because of it.An investigation into what? Racism on TV or radio isn't illegal.
And MSNBC's content is not regulated by the FCC, at all.
To: pissant
I am officially deleting MSNBC from my tuning.

GE should fire NBC. Dead network.
Imus deserves to be fired for a lot of reasons but not this one.
To: NickatNite2003
This isn't good.
I don't like what the guy said, but a joke is just a joke.

I wish I could say I was surprised. The question should be whether there would be all this noise had Imus been talking about Condi Rice, instead of these damaged-for-life students.

With his miniscule ratings, it’s a wonder how Imus even manages to stay on the air.

Perhaps we should monitor his radio show for content I'd hate to draw the short straw for that duty.
