To be totally fair, I would argue that the “disapprove” contains moonbats that are furious that that the Dems aren’t pulling out troops yesterday.

We need to do better selling the truth to moderate idiots.

The Democrats OWN defeat and are swimming in dangerous waters.

I get the feeling that the American public is confused more than anything.

Let Iraqis vote for US troop withdrawal or not.

If Iraqis vote for us to withdraw then we leave - and the consequences aren’t directly our fault.

If Iraqis vote for us to stay then we stay - and the Democrats can’t say that we are their against their will.

We also get to find out if Mookie is supported by the majority or not. If the majority do support Mookie, I don’t think we should be there - the people there aren’t worth another injured much less dead soldier.

Speaking as an ex-Dem who left the party more than ten years ago chiefly due to the realization that the party was not patriotic anymore, the current list of defeatist Dem pol scoundrels is by far the worst ever. Lieberman and Miller (the latter just retiring) are the only two patriotic Dems left. What does that say for the Donkey Party? Their attempt to define themselves as patriotic and interested in national security is a sick joke. The Republicans aren’t perfect by any means, but as far as national defense, the Dems aren’t even in the on-deck circle, much less at bat. In fact they’ve conceded the game to the enemy as far as I’m concerned.

Congress doesn’t have that much credibility on anything and hasn’t for a long time.

For good reason.

Democrats  57% - Disapprove

Disapproval rating increasing each month.  Imagine what this will be by the 2008 election.

Give the Democrats enough rope and they'll hang themselves.

The problem is that both parties are full of shit. We need a new grass roots movement that are not interested in seeing the senate job to recieve bennefits. I really wish we would have another revolution but we cant because of all the restrictions on weapons.
