The Wonderful World Of Disney ran in various forms from 1954 through 1990, with "specials" running through the 1990's. Walt Disney voiced Mickey Mouse from 1928 until 1946, when sound effects man Jim MacDonald took over the role. Mickey is currently voiced by Wayne Allwine.

Seventies TV Night! And here's one close to my heart, as it was one of my favorites as a kid:

Land Of The Lost

This fondly remembered cult classic was another product of the wonderfully warped minds of Syd and Marty Krofft, who gave a generation of kids classics like H.R. Puff'n'Stuff and Lidsville. It originally aired on NBC fron 1974 to 1978.

The story, as explained in the theme song, was that Ranger Rick Marhsall and his two kids, Will and Holly, were sucked into a prehistoric land where they had to learn how to survive against dinosaurs and hostile aliens called Sleestaks. In terms of storylines the series was more sophisticated than most Saturday morning fare and many episodes were written by science fiction writers.

In the third season Rick was able to return to his own time/place and was replaced by Uncle Jack, who had been searching for Rick and the kids.

The series was rerun on CBS in the mid-Eighties. A remake aired in syndication in the early '90's.

The Ed Sullivan Show (aka "Toast of the Town") was cancelled in the 70s. Did it start on radio in the 30s?

2 second round is Arnold and The Fonz. I am not sure what the last of round 2 is.

All great answers, and it seems we have determined that the great family programs are the ones that stand the test of time.

Sesame Street also has spanned 5 decades. How cool is that!

“Laverne and Shirley” jumped the shark when the ladies moved to Los Angeles and Cindy Williams left the series.

There was no remake of "Land of the Lost". That was a mass hallucination. No toys from it, either.

The first season of LotL was some of the best writing on kids TV ever. Several major SF writers wrote for it. And the season finale had a great little twist that was totally blown out of the water by the existence of season three. I didn't see all of season two, but that was part of the reason that Rick Marshall left the series (creative differences). Uncle Jack did not have the proper moral values for Saturday and Will should not have sung.

Oops may not be right on my first guess of Carol Burnett as the question says series and I think her’s was not a series; but not sure.
