You got them all correct except for the last two, great job! Okay, you got me wondering what you were going after with that last one from round two. (I knew the bonus.) "Gunsmoke" sounded liked it fit the bill with 22 years on TV and a bunch on radio. ah, well. I figured it was something that ended in the 70s. Anything that started in the 70s wouldn't span five decades yet.

The only other show I can think of for #5 is the Wonderful World of Disney. Certainly Micky Mouse would trump Big Bird in world recognition.

1970s TV shows, huh? Let’s see how the first round goes before I start reading the thread...
1. Harvey and Tim starred in The Carol Burnett Show. They were a fantastic pair of comedians who’s performances were enhanced by the way they were able to play off each other.
2. Robin Williams got his break playing the alien Mork from Ork on the Mork and Mindy show. Nanu-Nanu...
3. The lolly-pop lovin’ detective was that chrome-domed marvel, Telly Savalas; the show was Kojak.
4. Ben Cartwright’s middle son, Hoss, was played by Dan Blocker. Dan was a favorite son of Bowie County, Texas, home of the Boggy Creek Monster.
5. Finally, Mr. Kotter’s class cut-up Vinny Barbarino was played by young John Travolta.
Now, let’s see how the rest of the trivia quiz is going!!

Man, that’s a good answer too! And, you are on the right track.
What’s interesting is that the shows that have the longest runs on TV are family entertainment. That’s very cool!

Bonzara was the Japanese version, where the Cartwrights all committed hari kiri when they realized they’d been living alone with no women for twenty years.
