The MSM will conceal Pelosi again. Just like the other radical feminst woman running to be president.

They will try. During the discussion on MTP, the Lefty apologists did their best to cover for Pelosi. One of the obvious Dem talking points out there is the "Republicans went to Syria, too" line. Pelosi's biggest problem, however, is herself. Between the stumble out of the blocks with Murtha for Majority Leader, the incomprehensible press conference with Obey on Iraq withdrawl, and now the Syria snafu....she's going to be the gift that keeps on giving. They can try to dress a pig if they wish, but people will still know what it is.

Call me a Grassy Knoller, but I smell a rat with the latest Clinton campaign "worry." Obama has raised a comparable amount of money and she's not a clear cut favorite in the early primary polls. One of the (many) criticisms against her coming into this campaign was her sense of entitlement for the nomination. It's my feeling the Clintonistas want to feign a fight for the nomination so they can resurrect The Comeback Kid line from 92. The Leona Helmsley of politics will exact her revenge on the Edwards/Obama supporters next summer.

Good catch about Britt, I have wondered the same as well, I can tell you however he will be a truly tough act to replace.

On a totally different topic I just watched a good friend of mine Capt. Kenny Harris on ESPN t.v. a few minutes ago catching sharks down here in the Keys.

Kenny and I did an hour of radio together last Thursday night, he's a great guy and a hell of a fisherman.(sorry for that just had to mention it)

I’ve had the same thought. Then in the aftermath the MSM will gush over Hillary’s political skill.

Great catch Laverne!
It’s just killing the msm that the “Surge is working” and they feel obligated to carry the DBM/DNC line that nothing will ever work in Iraq as long as the dems are so heavily invested in defeat.

If Conservatives didn’t watch these shows to get insulted they would have no viewership whatsoever. I just read the thread to see the canned Pubbie bashing. It’s not like they are going to go off the DNC talking points.

Newt lost me when he ran off with his hot young Sexytary. No matter what he says it comes out, “I am saying these words and don’t believe them.” He just strikes me as the ultimate fraud. Character matters.

That is why he can say something like fire Gonzales. It makes him sound Presidential w/o any consequences.

Pray for W and Our Troops

I know, that stakes are ever so high for 08!

We need a conservative with a capital C for President. At the same time we don't dare take the chance that the dems will get in office. The ramifications for the country could be long lasting! If we thought that bubba's giving secrets to the Chinese was bad, just think what Hillary(a true socialist) could do in a few years! It would make Billy Dale and the travel office look like romper room.

I firmly believe that Hillary can climb no higher than 44-45% on her own and maybe a little more than that if she is joined by oblama which I think we will be their inevitable ticket. I really think Hillary's negatives are so high she can't win no matter who we run, so at that point it's just a matter of electing a Conservative without trashing our other candidates along the way.

He’s had that effect on many people, what’s so scary is that even as jaded as he can be he still comes up with some brilliant ideas. It is tough to separate the many faces of Newt. You never really know which Newt will show up when or where.

Happy Easter. Do any of the Sunday shows have an Easter theme...silly question...but seriously, has anyone mentioned Easter Sunday on any of the shows yet?

Agreed. The “we need someone who can beat Hillary” argument isn’t the right one. We simply need a candidate who won’t defeat himself.

I used to be a Newt fan, but he lost me.

Same here. I remember when he was Speaker, he lost favor with quite a few Republicans because they thought he allowed himself to be rolled by Clinton. At times you get the impression that he is leaning over backward to show how he can be open-minded and "tolerant" - like his appearances with Hillary on health care. He is too much of an opportunist in my view - I just don't trust him.

Wanna talk about fraud how about the day after losing the elections Bush comes out with that piss poor press conference and says he finally has the congress he can work with let’s face it Bush open this door all by himself he’s one who kept all the Clinton holdovers and he’s one who kept working with the Dem’s time after time if the shoe was on the other
foot Bush would be saying the same thing

ANY of the top thre declared candidates beat Hilary Clinton. No one candidate owns that. (I imagine it is true for those stuck in the 1% too.)

...very inappropriate for such weather. This made little difference to my Mom. We went to church in our Easter finery, short pants, short-sleeve shirts, freezing to death.

You are not alone, Chuck. I went through much the same Easter, early '50s, way north of Georgia. We had to stand outside for the church procession and basket blessing. Mama* always put me in something fashionable and light, and before it was over she would have to tuck me inside her coat like a little bird under the wing. She was sinfully rich but I used to think I looked like one of those poor waifs in A Christmas Carol, under the robe of the Ghost of Christmas Present..."Their names are Ignorance and Want." To this day all Easter food leaves me...cold. You don't want to know what I keep in that basket now!

*God rest her soul.

Before too long you know that Obama and Edwards are going to start with the “Hillary can’t win” argument.
