Newt misplaced his talking points sheet and picked up and read Schumer’s.
Schumer made one tiny blurb of note. In talking about the US attorney firings and the AG he mentioned that the AG is failing on the investigation into Bernie Kerik.
This tells me the Rats are going to go into full blown assault mode on Kerik and in turn Rudy. As the primary goes on they will use Kerik/Rudy revelations to shape the news coverage to fit their agenda.
Bill Crystal made a passing comment that on the Republican side its really a 4-5 man race. I take this as Bill acknowledging that Fred Thompson will likely get in and shake things up.
Chris Wallace is a dork and even cut off Brit Hume mid sentence at the end. I don’t think Brit was very happy by the look on his face.

You always know where Newt is coming from. When talking politics, he is straight conservative brilliance. When he is off camera, I don’t care what he does as long as it is legal. Same with BJ klinton or anyone else.
