Sorry for the disapparing act last night. I am up at this awful hour on a Saturday because I set my alarm to be at the cable modem store when it opened to get a new modem. A CITY WIDE POWER SURGE took out my cable. I spent hours on the phone, twice....once before midnight, and later at 2am, trying to get help from the techs...plugging and unplugging, resetting and resetting, the cable modem and router....no luck. The tech said that the modem may have fried and to go swap for a new one if it hadn't reset by morning. Thus....I am up.....BUT Norton's thingy was on my screen saying it had run the anti-virus (like it does every morning at 5am)....is it possible that the cable has reset itself? YES!!!!!!!!!! I'm back in business. Gotta go find my stuff now.
