A Call to Non-Treasonous Congressmen (Vanity - Pelosi made me do it)
US Constitution ^ | April 5, 2007 | Kerretarded

A Call to Non-Treasonous Congressmen

Following the Treasonous and Unconstitutional Actions made in the past, starting in 2002 with Senator Rockefellar's trip to the Middle East:

"I took a trip by myself in January of 2002 to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and I told each of the heads of state that it was my view that George Bush had already made up his mind to go to war against Iraq — that that was a predetermined set course which had taken shape shortly after 9/11."

I, a United States citizen, call on those Congressmen who agree that the President has been the only one granted foreign relations power by the Constitution:

Article 2, Section 2 - He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law: but the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the courts of law, or in the heads of departments.

to hold your fellow Congressmen accountable for their actions by introducing either a bill or a Constitutional Amendment specifically stating that NO public official, unless appointed by the President, shall engage in negotiations with foreign powers, especially those that the United States government has designed as enemy states. By doing so, these Congressmen are violating not only the Constitution, but also acting treasonous by ignoring the President's direct order.

This practice has been ignored for too long and Congressmen are actively acting to harm this country. Just in the recent past, trips have been taken at least twice by Senator Rockefellar, by Senator Kerry and now by Representative Pelosi. None of them have been designated as an official Representative of United States foreign policy by the Executive Branch of the United States government. Yet they engage these foreign powers just like Jimmy Carter did against the wishes of President Clinton. These actions are dangerous, hazardous and perhaps even disasterous to our country.

Please consider bringing this item to the floor of Congress to stop these actions from harming our country any further.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

An Extremely Concerned Citizen

Do not fool yourself any longer. The Democrat Party has been hijacked by the Communist constituent of the party. They know exactly what they are doing. I keep hearing talk show hosts wondering how long it is going to take the Democrats to wake up to the threat we face. The problem is that they ARE awake and actively helping the enemy any way they can. They have an uncontrollable lust for power, a lust so strong that they will negotiate our lives and our country with our enemies in order to gain uncontested power.

Once they gain this power, they WILL impose an all-out Communist agenda on the people of this country. They will never defend us from those that we AMERICANS consider the enemy. In fact, they will tear apart our military to make sure that we can never win a war again.

Another alarming item that I have inferred from the actions of “President-wanna-be” Pelosi is that, because of calls for impeachment, I firmly believe that she is just putting more pieces into place before the Congress and the Communist constituent attempts to remove both the President and Vice President, giving the Presidency to the third in the line of succession, Ms. Pelosi.

...attempts to remove both the President and Vice President, giving the Presidency to the third in the line of succession, Ms. Pelosi.

I think they'll shoot for impeachment if they can't cut-off troop-funding... but they can't oust both Bush & Cheney at the same time. They've shamed themselves with abandon... and have paid little for it thanks to the DBM and our spineless Republicans. It's go-for-broke time for the communists!

Fascinating Analysis of Leftist Goals, August 13, 2006

Reviewer: N. Sincerity - See all my reviews

A former 1960s radical, Horowitz is well-acquainted with the Leftist mindset. In this book, he strives to explain the modern alliance between left wing progressivists and radical Islamofascists. He argues that this alliance is based on a common desire to destroy Western capitalism. Leftist sympathy with Islamofascist ideas makes no sense from an intellectual point of view, given that countries ruled by radical Islamists are among the most racist, sexist, theocratic states in the world today. However, Leftists have recognized that they can benefit politically from destructive terrorist attacks on the Western world. A West under attack can be made to turn on its leaders in fear and desperation (as they did in Spain after the Madrid train bombings). Only once people reject current government structures can the Left execute its anti-capitalist revolution and build a new reality that mirrors the Leftist view of utopia.

The complete and utter idealogical hypocrisy of the Islamofascist-Leftist alliance is distressing, but as Horowitz reminds us,

Leftists radicals truly believe the ends justify the means.

We are saying the same thing. I am saying that she is third in line:

President Bush
Vice President Cheney
Majority Speaker of the House Pelosi

Bush is President. Cheney is first in line of succession to the presidency and Pelosi is second in line.

As someone has told me today, The Logan Act of 1799 is already on the books and definitely applies to this case. In fact you might as well just say that Nancy Pelosi is acting exactly like George Logan did.

From this link: http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/RL33265.pdf

After the unsuccessful envoys returned from France, Dr. George Logan, a Philadelphia Quaker, a doctor, and a Republican, decided to attempt on his own to settle the controversies. Bearing a private certificate of citizenship from his friend, Thomas Jefferson, who at the time was Vice President, Logan sailed for France on June 12, 1798. In France he was hailed by the newspapers as the envoy of peace and was received by Talleyrand. The French Directory, having concluded that it was politically wise to relax tensions with the United States, issued a decree raising the embargo on American merchant ships and freed American ships and seamen.

Logan, however, received a less friendly response from the United States after he returned. Secretary of State Pickering told him that the French decree was illusory. General Washington expressed his disapproval of Logan’s actions. President Adams recommended that Congress take action to stop the “temerity and impertinence of individuals affecting to interfere in public affairs between France and the United States.”4 Representative Roger Griswold of Connecticut introduced a resolution in Congress to prevent actions similar to Logan’s:

Resolved, That a committee be appointed to inquire into the expediency of amending the act entitled “An act in addition to the act for the punishment of certain crimes against the United States,” so far as to extend the penalties, if need be, to all persons, citizens of the United States, who shall usurp the Executive authority of this Government, by commencing or carrying on any correspondence with the Governments of any foreign prince or state, relating to controversies or disputes which do or shall exist between such prince or state, and the United States.

The resolution was passed, and the committee was appointed. On January 7, 1799, Griswold introduced in the House a bill based on the resolution:

Be it enacted, etc., that if any person, being a citizen of the United States, or in any foreign country, shall, without the permission or authority of the Government of the United States, directly or indirectly, commence or carry on any verbal or written correspondence or intercourse with any foreign Government, or any officer or agent thereof, relating to any dispute or controversy between any foreign Government and the United States, with an intent to influence the measures or conduct of the Government having disputes or controversies with the United States, as aforesaid; or of any person, being a citizen of or resident within, the United States, and not duly authorized shall counsel, advise, aid or assist, in any such correspondence with intent as aforesaid, he or they shall be deemed guilty of a high misdemeanor; and, on conviction before any court of the United States having jurisdiction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding — thousand dollars, and by imprisonment during a term not less than — months, not exceeding — years.

The bill was debated at length, and various amendments were proposed, some of which passed and some of which did not. The House of Representatives passed the bill on January 17, 1799, and the Senate passed it on January 25, 1799. It was signed and became a law on January 30, 1799.
