Messing with Trey and Matt is like Scott Tenorman messing with Eric Cartman.

The episode mixed Easter and "The Da Vinci Code" in typically wacky fashion.

Oh - - so don't worry about it. It's just those wacky cartoonists again. >;o{

Funny how they made fun of Mohamed once, for about 10 secs and never have replayed it

Does “South Park” every make fun of Islam? I don’t watch the show.

Donohue has called the co-creators of "South Park," Matt Stone and Trey Parker, whores and cowards.

It's hard to get those terms out of people like Donohue. He would surely never call an actual whore 'a whore', instead reserving the word for men more alpha than himself.

This episode was so over the top it would be a real stretch to say the skewered anyone. It was one of the sillier ones for sure.

Jesus killing a representative of his own church with a spinning blade and then putting on sunglasses? Jesus installed a rabbit as the head of his church?

Yes, South Park is very conservative.

As someone told me on another SP thread where misguided Freepers were worshipping Parker and Stone: South Park does more to advance conservative values and morals than anything else on television.

I won’t argue the point, but if it’s true then all I can say is everyone should kill their television - none of it is fit for consumption.

Whores, maybe... heck, they’d probably wear the accusation as a badge of honor... but cowards, they ain’t. NOBODY takes on most of the topics that Trey and Matt routinely pounce upon... and NOBODY who does approach those topics ever does so with such politically incorrect zeal.

One taboo they have never attacked is smoking. Guaranteed if they did an episode that lashed out not at smokers, but anti-smokers, they would get more hate mail then ever.

It was a very funny episode. Bill Donahue is a bloated windbag who was ripe for the picking.

I can’t get too angry at South Park. At least they’re an equal-opportunity offender.

South Park is a satire show that takes on anything and everything without regard to political correctness. Crude yes, but so were many of the great satires, read Plautus or Chaucer and you will see the same earthy humor being used to lampoon those who take themselves too seriously.

As for this episode, I'm Catholic and I was not in the least offended. The actual satire was on the Da Vinci Code movie which many people have actually taken seriously.

They are cowards. How about a recurring Mohammed character on South Park? Hmmmm?

As with most of our vaunted entertainment media, they're happy to bash Catholics because we won't threaten to blow up their studios or call for their beheading.

Donohue got this one spot on--the creators of SP are "whores and cowards."

As a Catholic, I am just glad that they make fun of everyone. The show I would like them to do is about these wacko actors having all these luxury items while purchasing those stupid carbon credits explain to us little people that we should do our part....Now that pisses me off to no end!!!

I thought last night's episode was just ok. But last week's just struck me as a bit of a wimp-out. I expected a more scathing critique of Hillary...but I got the weird feeling they restrained themselves. Focusing the jokes on Hilldog's privates seemed like a way to avoid more pointed and caustic jokes about Hillary's politics. IOW, most of the Hilldog jokes, except for the over-the-top southern drawl, didn't really say much about Hillary Clinton...as opposed to say the ManBearPig episode and everything it said about Gore.
