Father, we are thankful that You have chosen a leader of integrity to guide us through difficult days and stormy seas as a country. We thank You for his steadfast courage in the face of all manner of opposition and personal attack in defending this nation against terror and supporting our troops in their missions in Afghanistan and Iraq. We ask that You would guide and direct his every step, keeping Him close to Your side, protecting his life and health, and granting him the wisdom he seeks to accomplish the great task with which You have entrusted him. Give him joy and peace, knowing that he is being obedient to You, and faithful in study of Your Word and in prayer. Bless his marriage to Laura and help their love to grow as they serve You first, and seek Your Kingdom.
Lord, we pray for our troops in harm’s way, asking that You cover them with a blanket of protection. Be a presence among them, we pray, and grant them the wisdom to seek out and find the evil enemy they fight and give them victory. Lord, we plead with You to speak to the American people and help them to understand that this mission is just and necessary, in spite of the incessant lies of the left, and that it is our troops who, by engaging the enemy there, are keeping them from attacking us here at home. Father, we pray for the families of those who are deployed, that You would give them both patience and peace as they spend difficult days with a loved one far from home and in danger. We pray for those who have been wounded in battle, amazed at their courage, asking You to heal them in body, mind and spirit. We also pray for the families and loved ones of those who have fallen, and ask that You place Your arms of love firmly around them and give them the comfort they need in this time of deep grief.
Finally, Father, we pray for this nation. Sometimes there are no words to express our anguish at how those who have been elected to represent us have abrogated their responsibility to do so. We pray that those now leading the Congress in the betrayal of our troops would be exposed and removed from power. We pray that in the election of 2008, that You would raise up leaders who will follow Your laws and the laws of the land, and who would be humble before You and obedient to Your guidance. We pray especially that You would give us one who will be our President who honors life and law, and who has the courage to continue to fight the war we fight against evil, at home and abroad. We ask that You would forgive our sins as a nation and as individuals, and we pray all these things, believing, through the blood of Your Son, and our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, Amen!

We thank You for the many blessings You have showered on this nation. Though we don’t deserve it, You sustain all, the good and the evil. We know it is the desire of Your heart that all should come to repentance. Lord, let Your Holy Spirit fall and bring repentance and salvation to this land like never before. Bring us a revival that will impact every person in this nation.
Father, be with our troops everywhere they stand, but especially in Iraq and Afghanistan. Give them discernment and wisdom to stop the enemies plans of attack. Lord, keep every soldier safe from harm. Fight this battle for us. We know that the enemy is fighting to keep this ground; to keep Your gospel from being preached. Lord, the damn has already broke and Your word is pouring in. Thank You.
Be with our president and give him Your peace. Keep him close to You in prayer and through Your word. Guide his steps and give him the wisdom to make the right decisions and the strength to stand up with the truth against those who are trying to destroy him. Lord, let him feel Your love. He has been so slandered. Don’t let him take the negative comments and accusations to heart. Remind him You placed him as president and to do what he was called to do, no matter what the polls say. Please change the hearts and minds of the American people to see the lies of the dems/libs. Lord I pray: “Destroy, Oh Lord, and divide there tongues” Stop them and let all people see the hatred, bitterness and ambitions of there hearts. Lord, enlighten this nation to understand the time we live in.
God, I thank You for the people who pray and ask that You increase our numbers. Light fires in the hearts of every believer to seek You and to pray for this nation and all our leaders.

Father, thank You for hearing us. We humbly, but boldly lay down these requests before You with all our hearts. And Father, let our praises be a sweet sound in Your ear. Lord, our president is under great attack from the left and such evil cannot be of You. Like others have prayed, Father, silence them, and may their attacks be turned back on them that they may know Your will and that President Bush is Your servant at this time.
Father, we praise You. We need You. Please help us, please help our president, our soldiers, our nation and our mission in the war on terror, especially Iraq and Afghanistan. Find favor with the U.S., we pray, Lord. In Jesus’ Name, amen! We love You!

Dear Lord, I add my prayer for blessings tonight for President Bush. We pray he will be open and sensitive to Your will in these crucial days. We pray for him wisdom in making decisions regarding our great nation. We pray for physical safety and spiritual life, and rest at the end of the day. We ask the same protection for his family and his administration.
Heavenly Father, we ask blessings for our military men and women and their families. We pray that You will bring those who do not know You to salvation through Jesus Christ the Lord. Provide them spiritual strength, protection, courage and valor. Protect them as they enter combat and give them success in each of their missions.
Heavenly Father, convict the people of our nation of sin. Soften all hearts and make them open to the Lord. Protect us from physical attack and may a spirit of patience and calm grow throughout our land.
