Hatch is not happy. Shuts Leahy up. Good for you, Orrin. Decent people are being dragged through the mud. Someone needs to fight back.
Orrin on a tear.
Well, gawleeee! His folks have been busy.
It's going to be a really big shew.
You are the intrepid one. Just look at all that stuff you posted.
I heard earlier this morning that "Hank" Kissinger is saying the war cannot be won in Iraq and that it's more complicated than the War in Vietnam (the creep aught to know). Supposedly it's an AP story but wasn't able to find it after I heard it on WJ.
Thanks for the heads up.
Because they know that the bulk of the fighting is being done by the Iraqi Security forces and those are not going away. Come what may the Democrat vote is political defeat not a military defeat. That and the fact that with Saddam dead they have no central leadership figure they can "restore" to power. So the Insurgency is splintering into it component factions.
Oh, and the I-Man better take Ashley. That's if she gets a permission slip from her parents.
Leahy cannot answer the question by Timmy, "Is there a shred of evidence of wrongdoing?"
We all, even Fat Boy know the answer to that.
A nice day for a walk in the Metroplex. There is nobody listed that I care to see on these shows, save for the roundtable with Brit.
It's for the soldiers :)
I don't doubt that we are winning...
I just doubt the sincerity of the insurgency groups wanting to put down arms......these aren't the kind of folks that just put in two week notice on their terrorism career and then start posting resumes on Monster.com to become candy stripers......
Russert is virtually cross-examining Hatch. What a sight to see. Pretty much yelling at Hatch.
OKay, I'll watch it then.
Good morning everyone!
Joe Biden a.k.a. "The Dumbest Man In The Senate...(duhhh)" /levin mode
:)
FGS, Timmy wants to know if Hatch would step in as AG if the media gets their way and the AG gets kicked out.
I like Hatch, but God help me if I'm ever really in trouble and have to rely on Republicans to defend me. Sheesh!
"Because they know that the bulk of the fighting is being done by the Iraqi Security forces"
Really?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070401/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_march_casualties;_ylt=AiLyF08_fJ0RG8.P5DFUOktI2oc
U.S. toll in March is twice Iraq forces
What is it you are always telling FReepers? Something like, "you need to learn something about . . . blah, blah.?"
He's just teaming up with Rangel so they can all three gang up on Sen. hatch.
NBC considers that "fair"
Sunni insurgent groups that were previously allied with Al-Qaeda in Iraq have turned against it, killing its leaders, attacking its supporters and vowing to drive it out of the country. At least two Al-Qaeda commanders have been killed by Iraqi insurgents in Baghdad.
Others have been forced to flee after insurgents passed their details to US and Iraqi commanders. Fierce fighting has broken out between insurgent groups and Al-Qaeda in Anbar province, west of Baghdad.
Leahy says Goodling takes the 5th because she might lie to the committee.
Guten Tag!
;-)
Figures...the DBM already trying to pick cabinet members they deem "acceptable"
