Of course it doesn’t matter to them if barracks, family quarters, and hospitals can’t be maintained. It doesn’t matter to them if equipment needed to train troops for deployment or to support disaster relief operations domestically isn’t repaired. It doesn’t matter to them if training for troops deploying to combat have their training curtailed. The “slow bleed” is what they are after.
He characterizes what the Democrats are doing as a “misdirection.” I call it outright lying.
Congressman Murtha has made a video TELLING moveon members that this is EXACTLY the plan. After the DOD starts taking funds from training and replenishmnet, Murtha et al are going to pass a bill declaring that troops MAY NOT be sent into action if they have not had adequate training on theatre specific equipment ==== and if their unit is not 100% fully equiped to be sent into theatre.
He knows this will sell well with the aid of the dncmedia, and sufficient Americans will say, of course the troops can't go if they are not equipped or ready! It's the old up-armor and body armor meme all over again.
Which lack of 'adequate' training Mutha et al are planning to bave happen
I wonder if any of today's guests who are supposedly on 'our' side will mention this fact.
