The 9/11 Commissioners did not want to know! Plain and simple.
The American system is about preservation of our form of Government, not about elected officials. When the realization hits that the people charged with taking care of our system are not doing so and, their lack there of cannot be attributed to naivette then there is something else in play. If the corruption of our two party system runs so deep that the entire Senate and House of Representatives neglect to make the right decisions due to fear of exposure for their own legal shortcomings, then it is time to change the people in order to preserve the system. It is the American System which I support, and I will only support those individuals who have sworn to protect it in so much as that their decisions are not based on esurient purposes.
Keep the Government - clean house(and I mean the whole house). Public service was never meant to be a get rich proposition. If you want to get rich, become a broker, used car salesman, or a lawyer.(especially you B.J and Hillary)

Take a look at Fielding's background...I know it to stretch to Watergate (he often came up as the possible "deep throat"), to include the Reagan administration and as the top guy in vetting Bush's first cabinet nominees. This guy is a big time keeper of secrets, clean ups and the like. I thought it was a good move when the President brought him in, knowing how dirty things would get with the Democrats.
When I saw the clip of him tonight though I found his syrupy comments to be incredibly suspicious...and I bet there is a reason for that. What it is I don't know, just that it's not necessarily what it seems.

I don't know for a fact, but I'd say it will be on the Fox News network, not the regular Fox channel. When Fox News has done other special reports, it has always been re-aired again...at least a couple of times, if not more. I'm hoping this one will be repeated alot.

Yes...I posted his named with exclamation points..because of his latest "job" for Pres. Bush...trying to soothe the tempers in the Congress regarding the US Attorney thing...and explain to the Dems that Pres. Bush has done nothing wrong...
However, after watching this show...I am in the dark what, if anything this might mean as far as this Berger case.
I am still going to wait...I guess maybe forever...to find out the whole story. I just can't bring myself to believe that Pres. Bush would let the stuff that has happened, happen....and NOT done other things that we think should be done.(like pointing the finger more at Clinton)...unless he has a good reason (national security).
