I couldn't agree with you more....great job of highlighting just a few of the "high crimes" put into play by the Clinton's......now my question is "where the heck have the Republicans been...I get so sick of them not speaking up...how many opportunities have they had?

Another thing , talk about "high crimes"...what a shame there isn't a way for the American people to bring charges against the main stream media....talk about treasonous!!They couldn't be more helpful to the libs AND our enemies in this war on terror...Don't know how they sleep at night.

NEVER FORGET

The 9/11 Commission REFUSED to interview MONSOOR IJAZ publically under oath like he was demanding.

Only privately, not under oath.
With no public disclosures.

For all the complaints on FR about Fox News not being perfect, one would sure never see that type of in depth investigation on the big 3!

And for all the complaints about the MSM on this thread, those same Freepers watch Hardball, CNN and the Sunday morning talk shows.

That is why the cover-up continues, and that is why many (both parties) want Hillary to succeed Bush -- to continue to keep 'things' under wraps.

This was the comment to which I first responded.

It struck me as bizarre.

Does the idea that the Republican party wants Hillary to win seem logical or rational to you?

If so, I have grossly underestimated you over the years.

Now forgive me if I don't respond to your reply........I'm heading out.

I just believe in my heart that there IS a reason...after all, all of this has happened while we are at war...and the security of this country seems to be Pres. Bush's top priority..and he has suffered mightily for not backing down..

I prefer to wait until we know more to accuse Pres. Bush of a cover up or worse.

Makes one wonder about all the smoke about Ashcroft's nomination

Yep. His resignation was also intriguing.

"REFUSED to interview MONSOOR IJAZ publically under oath like he was demanding."

I remember his pleas to the public.

Thanks, AR.

I'm with you there. I am shaking my head while suffering from a sick feeling. I have to wonder what Ashcroft was thinking.

Nancy Kegan Smith, an expert on the papers of the First Ladies in the Office of Presidential Libraries

Nancy Kegan Smith, senior archivist in the Office of Presidential Libraries and co-editor of Modern First Ladies: Their Documentary Legacy

September 2004 statement to Brachfeld by Nancy Kegan Smith, who directs the Archives’ presidential documents staff and let Berger view the documents in her office in violation of secrecy rules. Smith said "she would never know what if any original documents were missing," Brachfeld reported in an internal memo…

Brachfeld pressed Justice Department officials on six occasions in 2004 to make a fuller statement to the commission about Berger’s actions, to no avail. He also contacted Justice Department Inspector General Glenn A. Fine, who organized an April 2004 meeting between Brachfeld and Justice officials that convinced him that "these issues had to go before the 9/11 Commission," according to two people present.

In the Hertling letter, the department noted obstacles in its investigation. The FBI was not advised of the case until Oct. 15, 2003, almost two weeks after Smith concluded that Berger had stolen documents. By then, Archives General Counsel Gary Stern had called Berger and former Clinton lawyer Bruce Lindsey about it and obtained two documents from Berger, who surrendered them at home after first denying they were in his possession.

"It never ceases to amaze me how the most trivial things can be politicized. It is the height of unfairness . . . for this poor guy, who clearly made a mistake," Breuer said…

I certainly won't go so far as to absolve others around Pres. Bush...but, I still want to know the whole story before I point fingers at anyone but Sandy Berger, the woman that helped him..AND the 9/11 Commission.

Once they found out...they should have halted taken Berger's theft into account...and NOT pushed Congress to bide by ALL of their demands for changes, based on the LACK of knowledge they had.

Thanks for the ping--just catching it now--but we did watch this. He should be in jail. We all know who put him up to this--revisionist history. These people have no shame, no conscience, no morals--they will stoop to everything. Kudos to FNC for keeping this outrage alive.

You are assuming that President Bush and Vice President don't have a work around!

Think before you believe for a moment that we're doomed.

Why do you think the press constantly complains that this admnistration is secretive!

slick willie sent burglar in to prepare for the 9/11 testimony. Clearly burglar did as he was told and removed incriminating evidence that would have laid the blame for the attacks where they belonged/

"Many conservatives burrowed within the Department of Justice have long complained that Gonzales has permitted career government employees and hold-overs from Democratic Administrations to remain in perches of power and thereby water down conservative directives from the top.

This has been the MO of GW in his entire reign as pres. The fish stinks from the head down.
