Live thread to FReep about the Special
This was the best report I have ever seen on TV. It was straight forward and very clear...no weasel words.
We should let Fox and Mr. Asman know how much we appreciate such fine and courageous reporting.
David Asman has a son serving in the military and is a good conservative. He has guts to put out such a hard hitting report. Too bad that there are so few newsies with a set.
How does Clinton hold sway over so many people, even when he is out of power? Their behaviors are simply inexplicable.
My guess is that there is something on the Bush family (maybe dad?) in all those FBI files that Hillary Clinton had possession of for over a year. I think a lot of powerful people have been extorted by the Clintons and those files. JMHO
Thanks. I'm writing them now!
" I suspect that if he had been a republican, the archive staff would have been all over him and he would have definately have had to use the secure rooms. Liberals are such total Donkey butts."
When will you people understand that it is clearly the Bush Administration that is covering this up. You know, the administration that distracted us with a war while they opened the borders and is working on it's big accomplishment, The North American Union. Hillary will follow up with global warming and it will be all over.
Cue "Twilight Zone" theme song.......
"It's a shame, because the President could use his lame duck status to be a loud voice and a real force in the "bully pulpit"
What you and others who think like you is... it is EXACTLY because of these scandals that have forced Bush's numbers down. Not the other way around.
IT WAS BUSH"S Justice Department that failed. And if you don't think they are still covering for Berglar, why hasn't he been given a lie-detector test?
Try dictionary.com.
Jaded: To disagree with the actions/inaction of the Bush administration and its sycophants.
...But it makes perfect sense to believe that our battle is not only with the left side of the aisle, but "our" own Republicans as well.
I'm tired. I'm just too damned tired tonight after watching this show. This steaming pile we're staring at is indeed a large pile of dog duty and no amount of denial on my part is going to change that fact. This sucks.
I remember that too. In fact, it was quite detailed in some book I read. At one time, I had notes on that but my book notes didn't make it to my flash drive and...it's a long story.
But yes, Clinton did indeed turn down Sudan's offer of OBL 3 distinctly different times.
What is so hard to understand? Socialists believe the party is everything. Collectivism. The ends justify the means. They understand that it's easier to stick together than fall apart. Republicans believe in the individual. That's why is Repubicans cave in sooner than Rats. That's my opinion.
Marine, Ohh Rah!
He's our Dan Rather, with the exception that Asman tells the truth, while Rather needs fake documents.
For all the complaints on FR about Fox News not being perfect,
one would sure never see that type of in depth investigation
on the big 3!
The Bush justice department is made up of mostly career democrats. You see what happened when he only tried to fire a few attornies. IMO, he is weak. He would have done the country a great service if he had fired the whole department and started fresh from the heartland.
Be careful..Mr. Sunshine might get mad at you.
January 31, 2003 Clinton waives restrictions on most advice records CNN: http://zzpat.tripod.com/cvb/impeach50.html
From the article:
'Nancy Kegan Smith, director of the presidential materials staff for the National Archives, said it appears that "more confidential advice" from the Clinton administration will be open earlier than any other modern president.'
Good guess. hmmmmmm
Actual fact: Sandy Berglar had a very high security clearance. If he needed copies of documents, they have copiers at the National Archives. He could copy anything he wanted on a signature. Sandy Berglar needed to destroy the original documents. There is simply no other explanation for stuffing documents in your pants then leaving them under a trailer. This begs the natural question; who was to retrieve them?
We will never know.
