...But it makes perfect sense to believe that our battle is not only with the left side of the aisle, but "our" own Republicans as well.

I'm tired. I'm just too damned tired tonight after watching this show. This steaming pile we're staring at is indeed a large pile of dog duty and no amount of denial on my part is going to change that fact. This sucks.

Are you saying this Republican Administration is essentially the same as the previous adminstration? No difference? You know, the problem I have with that is that a middle of the road republican does not believe in anything. Witness illegal immigration, Libby, profligate spending, a tepid war on terror (tying our guys hands behind their backs with 'rules of engagement'), and so on. Clinton could not have done worse. Yet in Bush I sense a decency I find in no democrat, ever. I am, perhaps, too slow to condem his failures. Perhaps it is time I do so.

This is the kind of selective administration of justice which causes the electorate to loose faith in its government. Do you believe anything the Federal Government tells you? Like Asmans report tonight.....clear, unequivocal, concise,...it makes the point. The federal government spokesmen always leave me wanting more...the truth in full. But I feel there is just a shell of perceived truth......but I do not believe the bastards at all....even the seemingly nice one. That is a dangerous place for the government to leave the people.
