I listen to John Gibson every day and he has been doing a count down (count up?), of how many days it has been since Burgler has not had to take the lie detector test he agreed to as part of his sentencing. Un-freakin'-believable. I don't blame democrats, they will get away with what ever they can...this is the justice department and spineless Republican's fault.

There was NO excuse for the 9/11 Commission's not knowing about the seriousness of SANDY BERGER's crimes at the National Archives.
We on Freerepublic.com had been highlighting them at the time and since.
I'm sure many Freeper Calls were made into staff as well.
Freeper Kristinn even showed up at the 9/11 Commission Hearings with informational flyers..!!!

I enthusiastically voted for President Bush twice but my opinion of the man has changed, too. After six years, Bush STILL has a Justice Department that is corrupt to the core, and a CIA and State Department which are little more than rogue leak machines whose sole purpose is to undermine the administration.
It is an embarrassment that George W. Bush turned out to be too weak to do anything about these institutions while he had a chance.
President Bush is tired.
I have a feeling he's watching the clock until he can retire to Crawford. The evidence is all over the place. It appears he simply doesn't have the stomach for a fight anymore. Just look at how the rats can fabricate a "scandal" (the fired US Attorneys) and instead of laughing in their faces and telling them to go play in the street ("Nobody is testifying at your circus, your subpoenas are going straight into the trash can, and by the way I just fired five more US Attorneys because it's Thursday") Bush sends Gonzales off on an apology tour!
It's a shame, because the President could use his lame duck status to be a loud voice and a real force in the "bully pulpit" since he doesn't have any more elections to worry about and the rat Congress is going to do NOTHING to help him in any way legislatively.
Does the buck stop with Gonzales? Is this his decision? I am SICK!

But...ironically, just last month the Senate was having legislation that the dems insisted be passed because it was ORDERED by the 9/11 commission...and the 9/11 WIDOWS insisted on a "clean bill"....

The MSM is certainly evil. But it WAS the GOP Justice department that failed the American People. Still has not forced Burglar to take a lie detector test.
I've thought about the fear factor and whether or not the Kerry campaign orchestrated Burger's theft to prevent an October surprise for Kerry. Keep in mind that the 911 Committee held that very same summer was suppose to bury our Presidents chances for reelection. It certainly would not have went well if it could(and has since)been proven that the Democrats were responsible for the lapse in National security.
Still, dropping Burger was okay with the Neocom press but no prolonged witch hunt for the traitor Kerry.

That may be true. I, however am more interested in why the Bush Justice department has covered this up. This was not incompetence, it was and is a cover up by the Bush administration.
We have too much of this. What is Bush getting in return? This case is ten thousand times the current justice firings case.
These are the things that make you loose confidence in your government. Obvious crimes and corruption, overlooked.
