Vanity: Who sold their votes for pork?

Posted on 03/30/2007 11:02:19 AM PDT by InvisibleChurch

Who the H3LL sold their votes for $$$ regarding the de-funding vote in the House last week? Apparently some congresmen had "values" until Pelosi came calling with a bucket of pork money to sway their vote. They are the ones who are most despicable. Grrrr.

Thank you.

I heard that all add on pork was voted on as emergency items so no names were directly attached to specific items.

If you really want to know, go to Thomas and look up the text of the supplemental. You will able to tell who took the pork from the congressional district to which each pork chop will be delivered.

>>Vanity: Who sold their votes for pork?<<

IC, this is an excellent idea. As this wretched session of congress goes forward it would be good to keep up with who is for sale.

I was hoping someone would use the line " You know, in a 3rd world country, this would have been considered a bribe!". Isn't this what Duke Cunningham and Abramoff have been accused of? Why should Duke Cunningham go to jail, and these guys get kuddo's for selling their vote?

Feel free to quote any or all of these to any congress critter or news outlet. I've sent it to mine.
