Tankers keep aircraft in the fight 24-7 An F-16 Fighting Falcon approaches a KC-135 Stratotanker over Southwest Asia. Airmen from the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron refuel a variety of coalition aircraft throughout the entire region with aircraft that are oftentimes twice the age of the Airmen who fly and maintain them. I am not in any danger of flooding..The ravine behind me is deep enough and wide enough..Flash flooding is always a danger so I just stay put during this kind of rainfall. Low lying areas, underpasses, stream crossings are the danger.

I have an interior bathroom.. The bathtub or an interior closet are the safest places to be if one doesn't have a basement and most Texas homes don't....I worry about tornado warnings..not watches..We have them so often. I just keep an eye on the news...and lots of pillows are ready to grab to cover myself..I can't drag a king size mattress into that space!

We ate about 10:00 in Elkton, then went to Florence for iced mocha coffee. It was sunny except of a little fog hanging around some the trees in the coast range. :)

Just as I thought the tornado moved NE of my area . The warning is over for me but a lot of little towns I am very familiar with are still in harms way.. I did get the pillows and comforter into the bathtub , the kitty closed into my bedroom with me so I could grab her just in case.
I made fresh coffee(very important..LOL), put the kitty bowls in the bathroom and let the danger pass.

Wow! the Brazos River is high..Lots of flash flooding around me.

We are just under a tornado watch now..and in areas west there is another warning . We have had WEATHER!
