Aloha Connie!
A little secret.....have your Mom toss orange chrysanthemum flowers into the chicken coop and the egg yolks will be golden orange in color.
The chickens will eat 'em......actually chickens will eat anything...but don't tell anyone.

Good for you being able to get them!
I loved gathering them as a kid. Though I do remember one rooster that really had it in for my younger brother. That rooster would attack him every time he entered the coop! LOL
I guess my brother got his paybacks years later when we butchered the chickens & he turned the coop into his personal fort.
That was one stinky clubhouse! LOL

Nite, Sarge!
Good to see you if only for a few minutes!
(((hugs)))

Aloha Bigs....chrysanthemum's Huh? I'll tell her.
She normally has a very large garden but can't this year due to health problems.
Normally she throws everyhthing left from the garden to them & they love it!
Her garden is so lovely....she grows flowers amidst her vegetables.
