I heard somewhere today that some Democrat blog was saying it's no wonder Tony Snow got cancer, after all his lies for Bush and working for Fox. There's something wrong with people who say such things.

Legal observers say that the Seipp-Stein spat demonstrates how the Internet-using public still hasn't figured out the boundaries of good taste and what the reasonable expectations of privacy are in a world where seemingly every other person keeps his personal thoughts in online journals that can be accessed by anyone with a computer. Most of the Internet-using public knows full well where the boundaries of good taste lie. And most would say that Stein crossed over it long ago.

He was being vindictive when he found out she didn't 'own' the domain, looking for something to take out on her. Twisted.

Whatever socially acceptable rules that may exist are still developing. You're going to get some sharp words that's what's going to happen but when does it cross the line? Why should new "socially acceptable rules" have to be developed because the medium changes?
Scum is scum, no matter how it chooses to express itself.
This sorry excuse for a "man" has broken new ground in this particular area.

I'd say this guy needs a good beating, but it would undoubtedly just feed into his own little paranoid fantasies. With any luck this story will get around and nobody will ever consider employing him as a teacher again, at least.

I had to actually read the article in order to understand the fuss.
That was a rather scummy thing to do. (Not read the article, but this idiot Stein's actions.)

Stein sounds like Michael Moore's twin brother, AFAICT. He's just as loathsome, juvenile and narcissistic.

No law against being a boor. His justice would be if everyone ignored him, from now on.

I've heard it in connection with Tony Snow, but also earlier. I can't remember who it was in connection with.
It wouldn't surprise me if it were a formal talking point.
Rats are despicable.

What gets me is that he was hoping she would see it before she died. That's just evil.

What gets me is that he was hoping she would see it before she diedNirvana for a cowardly POS. Minimal chance of a response.
He probably spent his childhood sticking pins into the dog's lips when nobody was looking.

Is it my imagination, or have we been seeing a marked increase in the 'just don't care' attitudes in people?

This is the 21st century. We don't tar and feather miscreants anymore. Epoxy glue and packing "popcorn" are cheaper and easier to find.

Is that what we're supposed to say about Molly Ivins? Oh, wait, I bet that's different, right?
