NYT: Hillary Masters Military

Unfortunately, she's a Senator. If she chooses to visit the Pentagon or makes trips to places like Iraq, there's not much they can do but be polite to her.

But she has a long, long record of bad relations with the military. From what I read during the clinton years, she hated the military a lot worse than bill did. And she made her feelings clear to the unfortunate military attaches who were assigned to duy in the White House.

According to one story, Chelsea picked up her attitude, and told a military attache who had been assigned to her that he was not welcome to ride in the limousine with her.

I know a few generals who have met her. Over a stiff drink, they will tell you what they really think of her.

The only General who really liked Hillary was that worthless Claudia Kennedy - the inventor of garbage such as mandatory "Consideration of Others" PC training. She called it "COOing." Isn't that cute?

If Hillary gets back into the White House, expect the military to go to hell in a hand basket.

And when she was first elected Senator, she manuvered to get on the Armed Services Committee, so that she could put on a show about supporting our military.

Herevilself looms large. The Obama bump is behind her as is Iraq and its full steam ahead. Even universal health care(unfortunately for his Edwards and his family, I don't see him as serious any more not that he ever really had a chance) is back and she will run the Ranger obstacle course next week. Life is good if you are Herevilself.

leaders eat after the men....always provide for their comfort, supply and chow... then eat.

don't ask a man to do something you haven't done or aren't willing to do...lead by example...

I remember a girl I knew commenting on how the men were in line and the senior nco's were at the back, the officers behind them and the Lt. Col behind all of them....

no big deal, just the way it's done.... the men always came first....... of course we were trained to always think of the other man..... teamwork...

the libs will never "get it".... it's about power and showing how you can control or abuse others to make yourself look good while making sure everybody looks bad....

there are officers like that as well as senior nco's..... but most of the men knew the difference between a "leader" and an officer in charge.
