I don't even want to think of his "tongue" let alone it slithering before the Camera in High Def. Yikkkkkkkkkkkkkkkes, I think I am going to hurl. He even snoops and gets into things that are none of his business like a Raccoon, and steals Food (from the taxpayers) like raccoons. I wonder if you start screaming at him like his wife does, will he slink away like a raccoon then? It worked for Cheney with "Leaky". Did you ever see anyone look more guilty than "Leaky" at any given moment?

I will trust the judgment of Tony Blair on how to handle it.
Seizure unjustified, Iran warned "The seizure of the boarding party carries echoes of an incident in June 2004 when a group of eight marines and sailors were held for three days after being seized by the Iranians in the Shatt al-Arab waterway. They were paraded blindfolded on television and later freed."

No we are not.
What the problem is you confuse manufactured polling data with public opinion. You also seem unable to grasp the concept that we are a Constitutional Republic, NOT a Direct Democracy.
What the polls claim people think about an issue is utterly irreverent to what should be done here. That the problem with the DC Old boy's club.
Every issue is addressed in terms of how it will impact the next election. MAYBE one time the Old Boy's club should think about what state of the world is going to be in 5-10-15 years IF the DC Old Boys continue sitting on their thumbs when it comes to Iran.
Leaders lead, media whores watch polls and talk themselves into doing nothing.

I almost forgot to do this.
Morgan in Denver is out of town this week but he ran across some really good stuff, it's here:
http://www.GOP.com/ABOUT/
Morgan tells me that there are two main pubbie leaders in every state that are truly the "go to" guys if you want to get anything done, this site provides the list state by state.

We need to make sure such inspection teams will not be overpowered by Iranian patrols. It is the Iranians' teeming, overwhelming small craft capacity they have beefed up to keep these inspections from actually stopping the flow of nuclear components into Iran.
"Vee haff vays" of supporting UK naval activities, and should not have allowed this to develop into this "Sophie's Choice" (i.e, lives of the sailors versus the "child(ren)" who might well die later as part of a larger conflagration.

It is always about do as I say not as I do with rats. It is long past his time to exit stage left. Keeping him in the race is actually good for Republicans, but painful for America. If he is the least bit competitive after a period of grace, the Rat Presidential contenders and their Mavens (especially Hillary's Arkansas Mafia of gangsters and thugs will drag him through every swap they can find. A lot of us will have to avert our eyes to the mayhem that will ensue.

The Brits had already inspected the ship in question and reported no illegal contraband on board. They were captured upon leaving the ship. The HMS Cornwall had a helo up that monitored the Iranians from the time they left port and headed toward the freighter. The HMS Cornwall's Captain's ROE probably did not permit him to respond, so he contacted London, and he was denied permission to respond to the incident.

Here is the fundamental flaw in your argument. Like most Dinocons, you assume that if attacked, people rally to their Government. That is an assumption not provable by any data. The problem with this Dinocon dogma is you all keep hoping for some sort of magic bullet that some how if you hide your head in the sand long enough some magic event will take place and fix the problem so you don't have to get your hands dirty. You people are so busy continually taking counsel of your fears, you talk yourselves into doing NOTHING about anything.
Problem is that dogma of "Do Nothing" has never ever worked. It did not defeat the Soviets, has not solved the problem in Cuba with Castro, has not caused North Korea to be one bit less bellicose and dangerous, it will not fix the problem Iran poses to world peace.
We have been sitting on our hands for 30 years waiting for the Iranian people to rise up. They aren't going to do it.
NO authoritarian government has ever been over thrown without a credible external threat actively forcing the repressive Govt to change. Without a credible external threat, the authorization Govt has no reason to ever reform their system.

Not a bad choice Samantha!!
I just watched a short piece on CNN(I know why put myself through the agony of CNN--opposition viewpoint remember)that concentrated solely on those US soldiers and how they were killed this week. Complete with the ominous music and the soap opera details!!
It was unusually pathetic when you understand that they totally disregarded the other side which is how many terrorists we killed and how well the surge is going.
I guess CNN(which sounded like NPR with video) is now a wholly owned subsidiary of their affiliate in the Mid-East al jazerra.

rodguy...your description in post #115 is spot on.
I saw an interview with Joe DiGenova a week or so ago...and he pointed out then...that the Dems would USE this to look into EVERY US Attorney's history, and see if they can find something to "investigate" and bash Bush about.
He said that the goal is to keep Bush under investigation and his administration testifying from now until election day, 2008.
