Has one person in the MSM realized yet the admission publically by Iran of it's interference? Nevermind... let's wait for the UN to ask for more 'restraint'.

Gee I am so sorry you find the concept of the President as Commander in Chief so difficult to comprehend. The President has utterly no legal need to consult Congress on this at all. Try reading Article 2 Section 2 of the US Constitution. The Dims cannot even get the votes for their stupid Iraq "non binding: Iraq resolution in the US Senate. You think they have the votes to cut off funding to active operations? Dream on.

Well, Elizabeth had her own career and did not Campaign like Kerry or either Clinton 24-7. Unless she has wall to wall nannies and Housekeepers being with her Kids was normal. Edwards should stick with his Family which is the winning hand, his political career as far as I see is toast.

I wonder how Liz would be treated with $200,000 meds if they were poor and we had the socialist healthcare he wants? Nevermind, it's for us plebes.

Why can't he be like the Goreacle, drop out, tour for Cancer causes with his wife... wouldn't that do a lot more?

RATS get an entire morning's programming to spread their propaganda, ... and our guys ...say and do absolutely nothing about it.

It's clearly our job to complete the job of de-funding the Dinosaur media and see all their investors lose their shirts. Only then might there be a watershed of understanding that Leftist propaganda outlets, while ubiquitous, are all converging on the Air America model.

You did know Edwards campaign manager has financial links to terror supporters? Did you also know there were three other stories (not just the campaign laundering ala Arkansas lawyers and getting campaign folks and relatives to give and get paid back), that came out two days and the day before respectively?

I had the Pleasure of meeting and talking with him (Gillespie) many years ago when I volunteered at a RNC meeting in Bal Harbour. Another Volunteer and I picked him up from the Airport, and he was a captive audience for us two Political Junky and Savvy Females. He was such a Gentlemen, so intelligent and had a quiet Presence about him that was hard to forget. We just knew he would go far.

There is assumption there totally unproven by any observable data. The assumption is the people will rally to the Iranian National Government if they are bombed. Not necessarily.

IF you hit the tools of repression, secret police HQ, leadership enclaves et all it may just ENCOURAGE the repressed. The mistake would be to hit things the people need like bridges, refineries, electric grids.

The problem is we are still operating under a Cold War developed paradigm of International Relations that does not take into account either the changes brought about by the collapse of the Soviet Empire NOR the revolution in weapons technology the West has experienced since the end of the Cold War. Here is an example. We currently have a GPS guided bomb. The bomb uses a GPS system to continually correct itself as it falls towards the target. Such technology did not exist even 10 years ago. Even during the 1991 Gulf War 80-85% of the munitions dropped were unguided "dumb" bombs. We simply have got to quit responding to ever problem with the same old worn out formulas and dogmas. The world has changed significantly in the last 10-15 years everywhere except in the bureaucracy of the Western Governments

A gross oversimplification of what happened here. Nation states do not seize the uninformed members of each other military in international waters. That is a violent breach of International Law. It is a gross oversimplification to compare this to arresting a drug smuggler or a drunk tourist..

If you clicked on the link I provided on incidents during the Cold War, you will see that not only were uniformed members seized, they were killed in violation of international law. And international law is a thin reed to base anything on.

"In 1988 U.S. warships sank an Iranian frigate and shelled two Persian Gulf oil platforms near the Strait of Hormuz in response to a mine attack against the USS Samuel B. Roberts, an American frigate. A few months later, the U.S. Navy accidentally shot down an Iranian commercial jet carrying 290 passengers and crew. The American government mistook the plane for a military fighter jet but refused to apologize or admit any wrongdoing."
