Latino Leaders' Silence Is Killing Blacks

I will say publicly what many people are whispering privately in barbershops, soul food restaurants, and church parking lots in South Los Angeles. If relations don't improve between African Americans and Latinos in Southern California, we are headed for a major racial conflict. And the notion that Latinos are killing blacks to "ethnically cleanse" their neighborhoods is extremely troubling.

Considering that our open borders policy is bringing us higher taxes and urban anarchy (25% of L.A. prison inmates are illegal aliens), bankrupt public school districts, insolvent hospitals (forced to curtail public emergency medical services), record profits for the drug cartel, and a national security danger in an age of international terrorism, should we really be surprised that more and more of our towns and cities are becoming like Baghdad? Welcome to the new multicultural and Balkanized America. And it's no longer just border states. The rot has spread to suburban and even rural areas throughout the entire nation. What's going on in the small town of Hazleton,PA (population 30,000)is not unusual.

Little Charlie Manson is probably ecstatic about the situation.

Of course its whitey's fault. "Filthy rich, capitalistic, racists" whites have oppressed the Black and latinos so that their justifiable rage bursts forth and tragically they assault each other in a frenzy of impoverished frustration.
(uh, have I got the Liberal guilt ridden codependent enabling talking points correct?"

Oh, they will find away.
A Black - Latino conflict will have far reaching consequences, and many losers. Law enforcement will be severely hampered because lack of trust. Law enforcement and the Federal Government will be blamed for failing to control the situation. The government will appropriate millions in give aways that will reward misconduct and crime. Politicians lack the spine to do anything constructive. I would fear for the nation as a whole.

That was good. Try to incorporate terms such as "hegemony", "patriarchy", "deconstruct", "paradigm", and so on. For more inspiration, mash

If you want to put it bluntly..our lack of immigration policy to supply cheap labor to replace our own "underclass" is racial. There is no doubt that illegal immigrants in service and construction jobs have displaced black workers..they should be pissed.

I'd venture a guess that blacks kill more blacks than any other group of people. (Hope that was stated as PC as possible. If not, too bad) ;)

There were major conflicts between the blacks and Vietnamese in New Orleans shortly after Vietnam. A lot of the Vietnamese were becoming fishermen, and it got rough. The local press would report on it, but it never got any nationwide attention.

Black Americans are the "underclass"?
They have fought bravely in the armed conflicts of this nation, endured bigotry, started businesses, and have begun to assimilate, in spite of obstacles, into the American dream.
Close the borders George, embrace the legal, working, dreaming, non-hyphenated Americans which struggle, contribute, enlist and salute the Stars and Stripes which codify the birth of our nation.
That's all.
Enforce and protect our borders, language and culture!
Just damn.

In a sense, the characteristic theme of McElwaines[2] critique of the neotextual paradigm of reality is the role of the participant as writer. This kind of talk makes my nipples hard.

If you want to put it bluntly..our lack of immigration policy to supply cheap labor to replace our own "underclass" is racial. There is no doubt that illegal immigrants in service and construction jobs have displaced black workers..they should be pissed. You don't quite have it right. Bush and his financial aristocracy supporters are not out to displace black workers. They are out to lower wages of all workers, black or white. The middle class is left to pick up added costs such as social security which is used for welfare; increased medical insurance to cover costs of those who don't pay -- illegal immigrants and welfare recipients; increased auto insurance for the same reason; increased criminal justice to defend illegals; and so on. This is ultimately an assault by the rich on the poor and the middle class. It's class, not race.
And every time I hear the rich pay all the taxes I puke. The middle-class pays all the social security taxes which is 15 percent of wages on top of all the other taxes they pay. Social security is capped so the rich don't pay a proportional share.

At least the Mexicans in my area show up for work on time. (Ducking).
BTW: Be careful when you start spouting statistics about race and imprisonment. Guess what race of people constitutes the majority of inmates in the New Jersey penal system?

The rate at which black men are incarcerated is astonishing. There are 4,630 black men in prison nationwide per 100,000 black men in the population, whereas the rate for white men is 482.28 In ten states and the District of Columbia, black men are incarcerated at staggeringly high rates that range from 5,740 to 7,859 per 100,000. In contrast, the range among the ten states with the highest rates of white male incarceration is 620 to 1,151. The highest rate of white male incarceration (1,151) is lower than the lowest rate of black male incarceration (1,195). According to Department of Justice calculations, if current rates of incarceration remain unchanged, 28.5 percent of black men will be confined in prison at least once during their lifetime, a figure six times greater than that for white men.29
Because of their extraordinary rate of incarceration, one in every 20 black men over the age of 18 is in a state or federal prison, compared to one in every 180 whites. In certain states, the incarceration of black men reaches devastating levels: in Oklahoma and Iowa one in every thirteen black men is in state prison; in Rhode Island, Texas and Wisconsin, the figure is one in every fourteen (Table 6).
