Nashville, Tenn. (AP) -- Justin Timberlake won't be bringing sexy back to the Tennessee Legislature. State Sen. Ophelia Ford had introduced the resolution to honor Timberlake, a Tennessee native, "for his highly successful music career and for his meritorious service to the State of Tennessee."
But Sen. Raymond Finney, R-Maryville, removed it from a list of resolutions that is expected to get unanimous support in the Senate.
"It's not something I want my name on," Finney said.
Republican senators took issue with calling attention to Timberlake's latest album, "FutureSex/LoveSounds" . . .

"It's not something I want my name on," Finney said. It is nice to see that Finney has some 'old school' moral values. I agree with him.

Ophelia, who has been absent for most of this session, managed to drag herself out of a bottle to introduce this piece of $hit resolution ?

"...and for his meritorious service to the State of Tennessee."Exactly what would this service have been, Ophelia?

Republican senators took issue with calling attention to Timberlake's latest album, "FutureSex/LoveSounds" . . .Glad they changed it from "FutureBathroom/BowelSounds", even though it would have been more accurate.

I hope Tennessee never honored that Elvis kid either. All of that gyrating and colored music...what a shameful thing.</sarcasm>

She ran and won last Spring, then the Senate kicked her out because of the dead vote, then she won again in the make-up election.

"Timberlake is a no-talent a$$-clown."
Deserves repeating due to it's factual brevity.
Can I get a second on this, please?
