Weather Channel refers to Al Gore as "former President-Elect"
The Weather Channel ^ | March 21, 2007 | Me

Posted on 03/21/2007 2:41:23 PM PDT by streetpreacher

In introducing a segment on Algore, the Weather Bimbo referred to him as "former Vice President although we like to refer to him as former President-Elect Al Gore".

This was around 4:30PM CTS. Why is no one calling them on their overt leftist bias?

Who owns the Weather Channel?

The paper printed the names of the concealed handgun owners.

I know how to get the home addresses and phone numbers of the weather channel on air talent. I wonder if they'd be upset if it showed up on the internet.

Well, you have a point about the Nascar coverage, but Fox News? From everything I read about it (I don't have cable or satellite), Fox News is not what it's pumped up to be.

Fox news is in general less liberal than other networks. Some commentators do tend to be conservative, others tend to be liberal.

Much of what they report on are wire service stories, and to some extent when you start with garbage, the result is often garbage.

However, they are far more likely to point out the lies and double standards of liberals, and conservatives guests get a reasonable chance to state their views.

There is no perfect news source.

Fox News is pretty much the best of the mainstream, but I wouldn't suggest taking the accuracy or impartiality of any news report for granted.

TWC went full-on weathertainment years ago, after they figured out that a large swath of sheeple are much more interested in watching hour after hour of chicks and Breck girls giving flamboyant, animated weather stories with frequent, hyperbolic live cuts. TWC's weather "forecasts" are absolute rock-bottom-of-the-barrel miserable. For a plain-old, no-nonsense, accurate weather forecast, Weatherbug is good.

Get all my weather data from NOAA and other sites. Can't see why anyone wastes their time with The Weather Commercial Channel.

Thank you. Gosh do they suck. I live in Florida and never watch the Weather Channel. I can find more uptodate reports on nasty weather right here on FR and radar on numerious sites around the net.

The Weather Channel is for weather sissies.

I've posted about the weather channel before - every 10 minutes, they mention or have some segment on global warming and climate change. I cannot watch them any more. I just want the forecast, and they are now a political channel for the enviro-kooks.

Weather people on TV don't get the weather right either most of the time.

Especially when it matters to folks who could use accurate information.

You know, people like truckdrivers, mail deliverers, milk deliverers, Police, fire fighters, school children, health care providers, supermarket employees, construction workers, taxi drivers, doctors, lawyers, bakers, candlestick makers, indian chiefs........

I get my weather from Univision now - the weather babes are gorgeous.

But I don't speak spanish, so I don't actually know what the weather is going to be - but I don't care.

Nice going streetpreacher. Like I said in an earlier post, don't know why anyone watches the WXXX channel, with how late their severe weather reports are the house would land on Hillary even before the tornado warnings were announced.
