Before I even begin, please refrain from the patent pending "what do you expect if you live in California" crap. I expect to live as an American just like you.
Two things have happened over the last year that have really spoken to me. I live at the foot of the Reagan Library. It's a conservative area. Votes GOP in nearly every election. Average income in the low $80K.
The first thing was at a Vons store. A gigantic black green beret was behind me in line. I mention his race and size only because in Simi Valley there are very few Gigantic (and I'm talking huge) black green berets buying oatmeal in Vons. In fact, Simi is pretty white bread. I said, "you go ahead, I have a lot." He kindly refused. I insisted. So he went ahead. The person in front of him insisted he go ahead as well. Then the person in front of that person insisted until the soldier was at the front of the line. He put down his purchases (oatmeal and fruit) and the checker rang him up. Two people raced across the store to scan their own debit cards to pay for his purchases. Hand shakes and thank yous all around. Makes me cry to think of it.
Friday morning I pull into a gas station. I'm in my pj's because I have minor surgery that day and am taking my 16 year old daughter to school. I put the pump into the tank and start the machine. A man comes up behind me and says, "so, how's that vote working for you". I respond, "I beg your pardon?" He says, "your vote, your bumper sticker (Bush Cheney 2004). How's that working for you?" "It's working just fine, thank you," I said and turned away. "You Bushbots are all the same. You don't want to hear the truth. Now people are dying over there," he YELLED. "People died under Clinton, too, pal, in fact had he finished the job instead of getting a "job" in the oval office, we wouldn't have had to go back," I retorted. I turned back to my car and he grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. "Take your hands off me," I said. "There were no weapons of mass destruction and Bush lied....." he started until I shook his hand off my shoulder. "You attack a 50 year old woman in her pajamas at a gas station over a bumpersticker. That's pretty damn low even for a liberal," I said. "What?" he said, "I was only asking you a question."
At this point my daughter starts out of the car going "mooommmm???" (She's a red belt) "Get back in the car," I told her. Then I got in the car, too and we started to leave. As I was leaving he was standing in the gas station yelling "Sieg Heil" and giving me the Nazi salute.
I got a picture of his license plate and filed a complaint at the gas station and at the police station.
Seems the Constitution only applies if you're a liberal. My blood pressure was so high when I got to the hospital they wouldn't even operate. But if the police find this man, he's getting a lesson in civil and criminal court.

Sounds like another case of BDS, or maybe he needs his medication adjusted.
Gonna get his wallet adjusted.
LOL! Good.
Ah. Sounds like you ran into Nancy Pelosi's son.
Never ran across a lib like that, though.
Too bad I wasn't standing by pumping gas at the next pump back - the guy's nose would still be bleeding.
I'm glad you're okay. We're not quite playing against an opponent with a full deck anymore.
Some leftist Googled my FR screenname and started harrassing me via e-mail. Being an American, I've taken matters into my own hands, but, if it continues, I will reluctantly call higher authorities into the mix.
He touched you, and verbally yealled at you. Technically thats assault. Call the cops!
Woo-Hoo for the first part and GOOD on you for following through! What a cretin. Make him sorry.
A 'good for you' bump! Keep us updated! Me thinks he messed with the wrong lady!
As you have invoked the Second Civil War and I am co-keeper of the Civil War II ping list, I hereby perform the required CWII ping.
One of John Edwards' new bloggers. Pay him no mind.
:O)
Just checking, for those in Rio Linda, the man in the first story and the man in the second story are not the same.
As for the first, I've not seen the paying for meals yet, but I've tried to go up to the servicepeople I see at the airport, to shake their hand, tell them how much they mean to us, and to really support what they do.
As for the second, and I am not trying to be facetious...how much damage can a red belt inflict? I think that guy should be lucky that he still has knees. Cause someone comes up on a woman and her red belt daughter like that, this American is pulling out a highly pressurized good ol chivalrous can of industrial strength whoop ass on that creep.
(sorry...whoop arse).
Hope you get that surgery in...can someone take you next time? Preferably a male that can spit nails? Seriesly...that would be hugh, and said creep would be pwn3d.
Next time, get dressed. ;^)
Call the Police! File a complaint!
Heck no. Next time I'm going buck naked and scare him to death.
