Dearest Heavenly Father we come with joy and thanksgiving this day to praise Your Holy Name and worship at Your throne. We bring before You our prayers and petitions, knowing that You are Faithful and Just and will hear and answer our prayers.

Father, we lift up to You our brother in Christ, President Bush, knowing that he is being attacked from all sides by enemies foreign and domestic. We know that Satan would achieve a victory if President Bush were destroyed, and we see the arrows of the enemies coming at him, even from those who claim to be his allies. We see in him the love of Jesus Christ, and know that he prayed with and used Your word to comfort the families and friends of those who died in deadly tornadoes, and we are in awe that You have provided for us a man of God to lead us through these days. We ask that he be granted Your divine wisdom as he makes each decision, and especially now as he decides what the best action to take with AG Gonzalez may be. Guide him in spirit and in truth and give him the discernment to make the right decisions on all matters. We ask that he would be girded with strength as he fights the war on terror in Your Name. Thank You for the answers to these prayers.

We also pray for our troops in harm’s way, and thank You for answered prayers in the progress that is being made in Iraq against an evil foe. Protect our men and women in uniform we pray, and grant them wisdom to seek out and destroy those who are killing innocent civilians as well as our troops. We pray for those who have been wounded in battle, that they might be restored to health, and we pray especially for the families and loved ones of those who have fallen that they might be given comfort and peace.

And finally dear Father, we pray for this country, and beg Your forgiveness for our sins of immorality and abortion. We pray with increasing fervency that You would raise up a leader who will protect the life of the unborn, stand for morality and wage war against our enemies. We trust You, dear Lord, and know that if we pray in Your Name, cleansed by the blood of the Lamb, that You will answer our prayers, and we wait expectantly for those answers. We thank You for the privilege of calling on Your Name, and ask all these things in the Name of the One who sacrificed his life for our sins, Jesus Christ, Amen

We Bring Before You our Brother-President, Seeking for him Every Protection and Peace. We are Heartsick Over the Treatment of this Man, O Merciful God. Beautiful prayer oWf. I join you and my sisters and brothers in Christ as we pray for President Bush, his family, and his administration. We ask Your protection and wisdom in their daily duties. We know there is an evil enemy who would want them to fail thinking it would be a victory for them. We pray for the evil enemy as well.

Dear Lord, we lift up to You the military troops who are sacrificing for our freedom. We pray they will know that we love them and support them. We pray for their families, especially for those whose loved paid the ultimate price.

Heavenly Father, we pray for a good, honest, God fearing person as a candidate for president next year. We need more pro-life people representing us.

Father, I just add for Your mighty protection of President Bush now as there is no doubt his political enemies will spout venomous accusations at him by tomorrow. Lord, we know the god of this world works through them and the hate and anger will be undeniable, but Father, we pray a shield of protection around our president and our nation, that You would silence those critics. Father, no doubt they do not even know what they are doing so we pray for them, that You would soften their hearts and open the eyes of their hearts to You.

I join your prayer and most fervently pray that the Spirit of the Living God will keep our Christian president in the wide embrace of His most holy protection.

I pray that the venom from those who are so bent on slandering and dishonoring this man will dissipate. I pray a prayer of gratitude that you have sent President Bush to govern our nation -- a nation that needs healing so badly. I pray that they will hush their messages of hatred.
