"ABSOLUTELY!!! And I'm sick and tired of the blame going every where BUT there. Limbaugh has become completely unlisten-able with his horrific rants on the Adminstration. I can't believe this many people are so stupid as to not understand WHAT THEY THEMSELVES HAVE WROUGHT!!

Sometimes things have to get worse before they stand a chance of getting better. Like chemotherapy or surgery for cancer. It sucks. Too bad the GOP partisans forgot who brought them to the dance - and why! It was not wise to piss away the Reagan Revolution.

Don't scapegoat Bush. He has made mistakes but I respect is principles in the war on terror.

All of the Republican leadership and national elected officials are to blame, not just Bush.

They have all lost the will to fight so fast that it makes the core of the party wonder if they had any principle to begin with.

I'll take the Mayor of Hazleton against any of these rinos any day.

An anti-Bush rant about how he should have completely fired all the US attorneys ala the clintons.

Anti-Bush rant? I honestly believe you're making that up.

Rush hasn't been anti-Bush over the firing of 8 Clinton appointed judges.

Clinton fired every single judge across this country, and nary a word was said by the Democrats or the Republicans. Why? Because that's part of the job of POTUS.

You are right. He had no help from the spineless ones in the Congress.

Yet, he may have engendered a stronger defense of his positions if he had appeared stronger himself. Who knows....

We cannot deny that nobody has had to endure the non-stop bashing by the media and the dems like he has.

There has never been a reserve of good will and support for Gonzales. If he is indeed thrown overboard, the President will be in for one helluva fight over the next nominee.

The MINUTE Gonzales "apologized" -- he should have been fired..

In retrospect -- the MINUTE Sandy Burglar walked with a wrist slap ---- Gonzales should have been fired.

The minute Gonzales acknowledged the border is unsealable and stood by when those two Border Patrol officers were encarcerated --- Gonzales should have been fired..

But -- George "the Dumb" waited until the Democrats ORDERED him to fire Gonzales --- thereby granting them ANOTHER Republican scalp..

They don't call the Republican party the Dumb Party for nothing.....

If I recall correctly, Bush signed CFR willingly, but said that he thought SCOTUS would throw it out. If he believed that it was unconstitutional, he should have taken his stand and vetoed it. Instead, he relied on others to do what he had the power to do.

First off that has nothing to do with regard to what I was discussing with you (and your foolish comment).

Furthermore that is not exactly what GWB said. He made it clear if CFR passed both chambers he would sign it (and he did). Additionally he said if parts of the bill were deemed unconstitutional...that was for the SCOUTS to decide. Which is exactly right.

Lastly as I don't care much about this issue at the moment (CFR). The reality is the bogey man of CFR never did materialize now did it? There is more money in politics today then ever before. And individuals are giving more then ever before.

I just don't care what President Bush does anymore.
He's disappointed me so much in many ways and in others he's stood firm like he should.

Let's just get thru the next year and half without nuking Chicago or LA because of the Rats in Congross wanting to make love to terrorists.

Run Fred Run!

A lot of people on this forum beating their chests and proclaiming themselves "the base" really aren't.

They're the ones who "stayed home".

"For God's sake this has gone WAY TOO FAR!"

AMEN to that!!! I too am a champion of President Bush, but this?????? WAYYYYYYY too far. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with replacing people who serve at the pleasure of the President! Now they will get Rove to testify to this "non-crime" and hopefully (they hope) get him just as they did Libby. For some sort of memory lapse construed to mean lying. When Rove too, if there was an email passed discussing this firing, well duuuuuuh, he was Chief of Staff!

It's because of the subpoenas the dems are threatening ...

Waxman over in the house is trying to get his hands on anything he can get

The dems don't give a damn about Gonzales .... it's Rove & Cheney they want
