No question the company has the right to fire him, but let's be honest about it, if we weren't in the politically correct, ACLU sueing era we're now in,would the mooooslims have taken it any further then telling the bus driver they didn't like his comments and would the company have fired him for them ???

The guy lost his job. Not a reprimand, not a forced leave, he lost his job over a single, undocumented, alleged, generalized, and genuinely funny, ethnic joke.
The professor, orchestrated the firing by e-mails while ensconsed in her privileged (tenureship) position at Skidmore, completely undamaged by the alleged "joke".
CAIR issues a press release clearly cheering the outcome, taking credit for emboldening thin skinned over reactions by Muslims to the least schoolyard insult, and obviously intending to intimidate anyone from making fun of their protected class and anti social practices (e.g. Sharia Law).
If I had a tour company, I would fire employees for telling jokes that insult anyone, blondes included. He is supposed to drive a bus, and give tourists friendly advice about what to see and do in Orlando. Not tell jokes and insult people. Hospitality is about making everyone feel welcome and helping them enjoy their stay, not insulting them and making them feel uncomfortable. Maybe the bus driver will recognize that comedy is his true calling and find more appropriate work.

This was Hilal Isler's third time to visit Orlando. At SeaWorld's Shamu stadium, she said, flying eagles and the American flag flashed on the jumbo screen. Audience members were shouting, "We support our troops" and "Go America," Isler said. The scene irked her. "We are not at a military rally," she said. "Maybe they don't want us here," she said. "We won't be back."
See it wasn't about a poor joke, that guy just got in the way.
These people hate America and they hate the fact we are willing to fight.
I suggest they not only stop visiting sea world but that they get the hell out of the country period.
If, on the other hand, the driver didn't do the joke he should sue them.
Be careful how quickly you'd fire someone for saying something that offended someone else. We're all prone to run off at the mouth at times !!!

The driver did not exhibit good sense by telling it, without better researching his audience; but neither did he (ahem!) rag on Muslims in general.

That smell!! When I married my ex husband my nasty now ex mother in law was living in Saudi Arabia. Her husband was teaching Saudi's how to fly planes. For a wedding gift she sent us a blanket straight off a camel's back. My mailman looked at me & said you have a package that reeks. It reeked like the disgusting smell of camel dung. We hung that thing out on the back fence for 2 full years. Rain, snow, sun....It took 2 years to get the stench out of it. That present should have been a warning about her...I don't know how those people live as they do. She said when they need to go to the bathroom they find an alley & squat. ewwww

I would call myself a Islamic Alarmist with no problem. Sorry but I don't think I am a racist ..I do take care when being around Muslims. Try living near a mosque as I did for a time. You get called a white devil and a whore. I read about their plans to hit our little children's schools and be bus drivers. I read how they won't scan our pork. I really don't want to live with people that treat women as they do. I hate them . I hate what they have done to NYC twin towers. How many people they have beheaded and so on....I also don't understand why the Muslims living here don't open their mouths and condemn the terrorists. As a women I have had plenty of Muslims say nasty insults to me walking my hated dogs near their mosque and it was way before 9/11. My daughter is married to a Sikh so no I have no problem with race, I do have a huge problem with Muslims though. And I highly doubt a bus driver would be fired for making jokes about anyone else either. So you can call me a racist anytime you care to. Are you aware that many converts to Islam come from our prisons? I do and many are hardened criminals.
