IRAN is threatening to retaliate in Europe for what it claims is a daring undercover operation by western intelligence services to kidnap senior officers in its Revolutionary Guard.
According to Iranian sources, several officers have been abducted in the past three months and the United States has drawn up a list of other targets to be seized with the aim of destabilising Tehrans military command.
In an article in Subhi Sadek, the Revolutionary Guards weekly paper, Reza Faker, a writer believed to have close links to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, warned that Iran would strike back.
Weve got the ability to capture a nice bunch of blue-eyed blond-haired officers and feed them to our fighting cocks, he said. Iran has enough people who can reach the heart of Europe and kidnap Americans and Israelis.

Goofball must think he's fighting some Aryan super race...
Back in 1975, we had a team working in Teheran. Every morning around 0630 we walked up Takht-i-Jamshid from our hotel to the Embassy. We took the same route every day at the same time, and left at the same time. Earlier that summer, the "League for Islamic Piety" murdered two U.S. Air Force officers on their way to work. We were pretty green at the time. Looking back on it, I could've been taken hostage any time in Teheran, Baghdad, Cairo, Riyadh or Jeddah. Props to my guardian Angel.
LOL... why don't they retaliate in U.S.A.?
Bingo. And thank you, Jimmy Carter, the worst foreign policy President of my lifetime.
This is the best news I've heard since Bahgdad Bob went off the air. None of us have a clue what Bush and the military/CIA are really up to, but this looks very promising.
Maybe when that little peckerwood Ahmanutjob comes to the UN, we can make him disappear.
Israel is the 'Little Satan' and America is the 'Big Satan', they see little difference.
Iran is at war with the United States and has been since 1979.

Why we haven't done anything in response is nuts.
Congressman Billybob
I hear you but keep in mind.
We did sink about half of the Iranian navy, took over most of their offshore oil platforms, and shot down a civilian airlineer under Reagan.
We are clearly involved in an array of clandestine actions including plucking key leaders, bombings in the country, grabbing leaders in Iraq, instigating strikes and revolts in the country.
I am totally in favor of doing more but we need to understand what we have done thus far to have an idea about what else could work well.
Realize as well that Iran has rather suddenly moved from nowhere to number two among Most Hated nations. We were number 2-- we are now number 3. Israel is off course number one because the world is overwhelmed with anti semitism.

Ok.
Let's not forget the death of Irans chief nuclear scientist a month ago.
Half of these are probably defections.
Thank you. 9/11 was simply a wake-up call. Several of these mideast countries have been at war with us for decades.
I'd bet $500 that Israel's long arm got him.
I read on another thread ...or at another site....can't remember which....that there is a rumor of another missing Iranian....this one was in charge of the Persian Gulf for the IRG
Its game on...except we will only see snippets of this game as it plays out across the globe.
