What a difference a day (or three) can make! In Wednesday's GOPNation.com poll, Fred Thompson took off like gangbusters. But Thursday, Duncan Hunter led with 52%, to 27% for Fred and 4% for Newt, rounding out the top three vote getters.
Today, Fred Dalton Thompson has retaken the lead and pulled away from the rest of the pack, with 50% to 31% for Duncan Hunter, with Sam Brownback in third at 4%, followed by Newt at 4% and Rudy rounding out the top five with 3% of the vote.
Voting is open through the day today, Sunday, March 18. The top 3 will advance to round two of the site's polling to be held in April.

Not bad for an old guy, is it? Run, Fred run!

Every conceivable GOP candidate is on the ballot. Once voting is complete, the pollsters will take the top three for future polls.
There is no registration required... just click on this link www.gopnation.com and vote.
The catch is you must do this by this Sunday 3/18.

That poll doesn't matter. It's a conservative website which is biased towards conservatives. The only polls that matter are the MSM polls that show Rudy ahead of everyone else. Don't you know that you aren't supposed to post any polls here that has Rudy behind the others? On top of that, don't forget that Rudy is the *only* one who can win the republican nomination, he's the *only* one who can win the WOT, he's the only one who can...... unite the liberal wing of the republican party and tell the socans to take a hike.

And now a word from the Rudygogaga fans.....

Fred looks good to me. I like the man. Of course he hasnt taken a hit from the Politics of Personal Destruction crew yet. We will have to wait until his enemies do some dirty tricks sleuthing, and see what they come up with.
Its a damned shame a person ruuning for President has to put up with these Yap dogs who bite at the ankles ,but its a fact they are out there and they can make or break you.

Well....that's nice.
I cast my vote only to be told I had previously voted and this vote wouldn't be counted.
Problem is that I DIDN'T vote previously.
Ah, sweet mystery of life.

Oh, they will indeed. Watch Rudy's vote go up a half a percent in the next few minutes.

Newt is the only real choice in the end..
Fred would make a good VeeP.. to bring many of the RINOS in..
Giuliani would do that also.. Fred is the better choice for VeeP..
Other Rinos will vote for Hitlery since they are democrats anyway..

I took a poll the other day.
The results where that 87% of Americans were overly sick and tired of meaningless polls.

Even though on-line polls are seemingly worthless as to results because of the possibility of spamming them, this one nevertheless should indicate to the GOP leadership a lot of the 'undecideds' are not happy with the lousy choices we have now for candidates.

It's understandable that Rudy supporters wouldn't be on a conservative website.

I am a Hunter supporter, but that said I would not be at all displeased to vote for Thompson in the general election.
