On "prissie Chrissie's" show, his roundtable question was to the effect of...Does McCain's pro-war stance hurting him in the polls", to which everyone said "Yes!" Wrong question, should have been...

"Despite McCain's support for the war, why does the republican base hate him?"

... one of the last things the British troops who captured Washington did before leaving was put a curse on some of the swampland there...

In the war of 1812 (which is what I assume you're talking about) the British captured Washington (in August of 1814) but were then driven away by a storm (some say a hurricane) and an actual tornado which did more damage to their column of troops than all of the battles fought by the American defenders (reference 1 and 2).  The rain also put out all of the fires that they had set, preserving much of the city from certain destruction.

There has long been a debate about the nature of that event, whether it was divine intervention or some force called forth by occult means.  Whatever the cause, I believe that that event used up all of the good karma of that little bit of what was once my family's land (yes, indeed it was, as was Georgetown, which my ancestor founded).  Since then it has been a sinkhole for good karma, leeching it out of all who spend any time there. 

It's obvious we haven't quite paid off the debt owed to the universe for that event. 

But we're trying.

BTW, BFD if he said that mistakes were made. Gonzales clearly did say that the firing of the attorneys was not a mistake.

David Iglesias, the U. S.Attorney who is out in front on this on all the media stories and key in the move to put a hit on Domenici was either completely incompetent or a dem mole in the job. Two articles about NM U. S. attorney David Iglesias in the Albuquerque Journal today that present the case that he deserved to be fired:

By and large, the Journal has not been carrying water for Iglesias, much to my surprise.

I think the Pubbies that appear on these shows should bring a dog squeaker toy with them, and whenever Buffalo Butt or Wolfie or Steffie starts to interrupt they should squeak the toy a few times. It should be an obnoxiously loud sound that could even make them feel incontinent. Every time they are interrupted in mid sentence they squeak the toy. This could be a quick learning experience for them, "hear the squeak means shut your pie hole". I know this might even be reminiscent of Pavlov's Dog experiment but look who we are dealing with, a species with less intelligence and even less ability to pay attention than our Canine friends.

He did NOT comment on her BEAUTY. A few times he called her a BABE and he also said if she were single he'd throw his hat into the ring.

I think he was serious, I think he considered her a babe.

But okay, Val Natasha IS a BABE! The Wilsons know this. It's why they did the Vanity Fair thing and why they did that weird Twilight Zone cover for their book. She's depicted as a BABE.
