,what we need is a stong third party wackjob who can syphon off some of her votes.
I just saw that and I'm just floored to have even been mentioned.
Ok question for the day...who will use the alleged bombing of a Bradley FV to greater advantage as anti-war propaganda...the terrorists or the Democrat party and the DBM?
Wow...thank you P...I'm truly honored.
Richard Engell up next on Reliable Sources, Barbara Starr, and some foreign reporter on to discuss the 4th anniversary of the war.
WOW, Kurtz opens with how the media is NOT reporting on how the surge is working, why is that? Engell saying the violence is down because they bad guys have gone to ground waiting for us to get out.
The Bagdad guy (Pizzi?) says we shouldn't give an assessment about the surge at this point. He does says that the troops are all telling the media, PATIENCE (you idiots; -- that is my commentary no one on air said that).
Barbara Starr talks about Gates and says he is more reasoned that Rummy. Calls Gates warm and fuzzy. Starr says he makes no difference who is in charge, the press needs to be sceptical and we should keep that up. There is no enduring change, but it will be a long time before the surge could be judged.
Kurtz actually says that the media needs to be more fair (WOW AGAIN). No talking about how the media is using insurgent video, and why should they show it, if they themselves say the terrorist video is propaganda.
Engell says the "real civil war" may be going away. There never was a civil war, only in NBCs mind.
Starr thinks there is a big time credibility gap with this administration. Again she reiterates that we the media have to be sceptical.
Enough, switching to MTP...Schmuckie should be gone by now.
I am confused..
In what way do you see that Lindsey doomed McCain's candidacy??
That's what jon carry says too.
Oh, Kerry just accused Wallace of being "on the right."
LOL....thanks F I S H T A L K.
These chlorine gas bombs prove...IMHO that the insurgents in Iraq are getting help from the outside...something most everyone has known since I was there...but some will act like this is some kind of new development and thus...our fault.
It would appear that the only place other than the U.S. that is in more dire need of strict border enforcement would be Iraq.
And both for the very same reason...the safety and security of it's citizens.
I'd prefer that we had the best candidate, experience and platform. There are issues that aren't left or right that the R's don't hold up anymore.
We could win on porkbusters were it not for the likes of Lott and Stevens.
We could win on Kelo but we're not pounding the issue.
Watching MTP now; Sestak just mentioned about how we brought terrorists to Iraq.
Delay reminds Tim that the terrorists are saying that Iraq is the central battlefield in the war on terror. The terrorists are coming to fight us there in Iraq -- which of course was the strategy all along, but no one will ever say that. If we go there, they will follow us there, then we can kill and capture them there. Delay is great.
You will note that DeLay and Pearl get very little time to talk compared with the other two.
I found it interesting that Schumer admitted that there was nothing ILLEGAL done....but, he said, it was all political.
And YET, since there was nothing illegal done...then isn't what HE wants, getting rid of AG and replacing him with somone HE likes, for political reasons...
Schumer doing EXACTLY what he is all upset for AG doing?
I have to run now. I will check in later.
"Starr thinks there is a big time credibility gap with this administration. Again she reiterates that we the media have to be sceptical."
Actually what Starr doesn't realize is that the "credibility gap" is between the people and her fellow travellers in the DBM.
And I've seen the DBM's version of "sceptical"...in Somalia and again in Iraq...it's called toss out everything the DoD or militray tells you about what is going on and believe EVERYTHING being told to you by the bad guys.
Why should we trust anything Kerry says about withdrawing troops? He's the guy who vastly underestimated the effects of abandoning the South Vietnamese. Someone with his track record should be ignored.
Delay laughing at Sestak -- glad the camera caught that. Sestak says that there is only a small contingent in Iraq; essentially that we should ignore them. What an idiot.
Delay is too smart, Sestak is looking at him like he simply doesn't understand his comments. And then the other guy says we should ask the people of Iraq and that he takes Sestak's word over Delays because Sestak was in the military.
Also note how Chuckie wants to get Karl Rove under oath
