Republican Rudy Giuliani is the most appealing presidential contender in the United States, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 31 per cent of respondents say they will definitely vote for the former New York City mayor if he runs for president in 2008.
Democratic New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is a close second with 30 per cent, followed by Democratic Illinois senator Barack Obama with 28 per cent, Republican Arizona senator John McCain with 21 per cent, and Democratic former North Carolina senator John Edwards with 20 per cent.
When asked which candidate they would definitely not support in the 2008 presidential ballot, 46 per cent of respondents mention Rodham Clinton. Edwards is second on the list with 39 per cent, followed by Obama with 37 per cent, McCain with 34 per cent, and Giuliani with 28 per cent.

So far, that is the problem with the mentionables on both sides. None of them seem to be garnering more than about 40%, not general nor within their own party.
Most of the general public are of the mindset that November 08 is still too far away to bother with all the wannabes.
At this stage, all the polls and article and predictions and blogs about this candidate or that candidate are just exercises. The general votership won't start paying much attention until the party debates and primaries actually begin.

Wow - what a spin. You could try out for a liberal(s). Spam has a definition - it is posting the exact same thing over and over. Posting new articles on the same subject is not spam.
And - you are free to not click on Rudy threads. Imagine that(s).
I think you are annoying and irritating. What should we do - call you spam?
actually the consistent posting of SPAM and the visceral hate of the anti Rudy folks kind of pushed me into supporting Rudy.
Thank you. I've read them several times. They are impossible to miss. : ) I still say he's a Liberal.
It amazes me how far down the sewer the GOP has gone to even consider a candidate like Giuliani. By all accounts he should be running on the other side. Heck even the Dems have candidates that take more conservative stands than Giuliani does. No way he wins an election anyways. Won't get the Christian vote due to his pro-abortion views. Won't get the vote from those of us who actually believe in the constitution, especially those of us who hold the 2nd Amendment as sacred which it is. Nope no chance. Only good from this is that the GOP will go down in flames in 08 and hopefully regroup and get back to real conservative values and candidates.
I give up. At least for tonight.
Me too.
I agree. Spam, name calling and personal attacks do not change any minds - except I have heard of people getting so sick of it that they decide to support Rudy. LOL
You are free to support whoever you like.
I really don't think that is the definition of spam is it?
I would think it was something like an unwanted or unsolicited posts would be closer. Just because something is repeated does not make it spam unless it is unwanted or breaks some kind of rule that Jim has. Right?
yes, that looks better. I know it would taste better. :)
