Deborah Jeane Palfrey, 50, has said she planned to sell the list to a news organization to help raise money for her defense. The alleged "D.C. Madam" ran Pamela Martin and Associates, an upscale escort service in the Washington area, for 13 years before it closed in August.
Federal prosecutors say it was a prostitution ring that yielded $2 million in assets, including cash and homes. In October, the federal government froze the asset

Too bad. I would have liked to see the list. I'll bet there are a lot of happy politicians today.
Wonder if the judge is on the list???
yup. Clinton appointee
Interesting. This seems to suggest that there might be a reversal of the opinion, which is based on asset-seizure rules rather than confidentiality considerations.

Kessler is the first judge to consider an appeal that the Executive branch is violating the new Detainee Treatment Act.[2] Lawyers for Mohammad Bawazir argued that the measures Camp Delta authorities instituted to break a six-month hunger strike were abusive, cruel and unusual. Department of Defense spokesmen argued that the Detainee Treatment Act didn't apply to suspects held captive in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.[3]

10PM The "Commander"
11PM Mrs "C".....
True enough, but this ruling makes perfect sense, anyways.
Those records are part of the assets frozen by the IRS, et al. If those are under the control of the government, you can't sell them - anymore than you can sell your house, etc, if the government's sold them.
I heard Dick Morris was calling his pals to set up a syndicated deal to but it. OK - I'm just kidding. Actually, it's gonna go to the Libby Jury foreman, Denis Collins, so he can use it as the basis for another book deal.
They can always be leaked to the internet.
I'm shocked.
Shocked I tell you.
Second Amend

Second Amendment comes to mind...
"The judge must be on the list."
That was my first thought...
Or saw it. Maybe she's protecting Bubba and/or half his cabinet.
It is going to surface soon, court order or no court order.
Hope she writes a tell all book. There's probably as many Republicans as Democrats involved.
Fine, I wouldn't sell it.
I would GIVE it to some news outlet.
And in return, I would receive a largeish GIFT to my legal defense fund.
I personally would enjoy knowing who amongst our august leadership cries after doing the deed.
