I think there WILL be a pushback eventually, and when it happens, it's not going to be pretty. Bush has been trying to keep the lid on this anger (i.e., "Islam is a Religion of Peace" BS).
I'm sure the double post was an accident, but it goes double for me. I've got friends who are Muslim, but maybe they can come back later on down the line.

I wouldn't go quite that far. I know of some good, patriotic Americans who also happen to be Muslim. Most are nowhere near strict or radical in their beliefs. They allow their daughters to go to school in typical American clothing, hang out with friends of all creeds, etc.
They are strict when it comes to diet and avoiding alcohol, but that's really about it.

I think the radical Muslims are deliberately trying to tear our society apart from within. They delight in the expressions of anger and outrage evidenced by even some postings in FreeRepublic. When we go the route of "Let's just expel them all!" I'm afraid we're playing right into their hands.

The tenents of the Koran are very easy to understand all one must do is read the goal of the religion to understand where the followers are headed.

I think today's young generation may surprise you. My daughter joined the Army after 9/11, and my grandson's father is a Marine who has already been deployed twice to Iraq. There are slackers out there, but there are also some damn fine kids.
