We had a recent spate of news stories about Muslims "pushing the envelope" on our society:

• Some Muslim workers at Target refuse to handle pork
• Airport taxi controversy: Why here? (MN)
• One of imams removed from plane says incident caused them extreme harm (Flyin' Imams!!)

I believe these are examples of Muslims attempting to follow the moral of the above fable. The question is, how soon before America pushes back - or are we going to find ourselves shivering outside the tent?

This reminds me of my ridgeback. She'll sneak up on to the end of the bed, curled in on herself like a danish. But hours later she's sprawled out like a horse whose been shot, pushing both of us off of our respective sides.

Prior to US entry in WW-II, the Nazis had a large following in the US and even staged a rally in Madison Square Garden complete with swastika flags and Nazi salutes. The pro-Nazi "Bund" groups were organized and had offices in major US cities. After Pearl Harbor these pro-Nazis were rounded up and put in camps for the duration of the war and their offices were raided and closed. If the US is attacked again, I think the American people should demand we do the same with these Islamic Fascist front groups.

Interestingly enough, after reading this fable, the progression of presidential candidates from Reagan (camel outside the tent) to Rudy (camel inside the tent) came to mind.
