I saw a replay of that speech. Your dad impressed me greatly.
Too bad he got such a lousy time slot. But even that early in the morning, the audience seemed to recognize and appreciate what he said.
Tell your dad for me that he has loyal supporters here that are going to stick to our guns and spread the word!
America needs a leader like Duncan Hunter!

You might have already been pinged, but just incase.

Not a bad place to be stationed :) Tell him to give us a call sometime.

I won't ping Mr. Sam. He's probably flooded with pings and will never get through them all. However, if you're still reading this thread, I wish you well in the upcoming primaries. Congressman Hunter is one of two candidates whom I really like.

He sounded quite upbeat to say the least. And yes, I assure you my father has a great sense of humor and smiles quite often. I might even post pics.

US007, my fellow Freepers, Mr Ambassador:
This dog is tired and the toothpicks are no longer holding up the eyelids, thus - I'm calling it a night!
See you all sometime tomorrow!
MKJ 'zzzzzzz'
A parting chuckle for the night: The scene - Ronald Reagan press conference, Helen Thomas begins a question with (as usual) a political statement, saying "Mr. President, your Administration has announced a cut in funding for Planned Parenthood, do you realize that you will be personally responsible for an inevitable increase in unplanned pregnancies all across America?!?"
President Reagan (w/twinkle in eye): "Well, imagine that - at MY age!"
[Helen Thomas drowned out by resulting laughter]

Sam, I have a question. Does your father plan to address the misinterpretation of the 14th Ammendment in regards to granting citizenship to the children of foreign nationals?
I think this is of equal importance with the border fence in the struggle against illegal immigration in our country. Every day the government is illegally granting US citizenship to foreign nationals and it has become a hook to draw more illegals in, which just compounds our problems.

On this thread at least, we Hunter supporters should set the example and not let anyone spoil our good fortune. Point taken.
