Conservatives need to focus on the big picture. You can see all the damage the Dems are already doing to the country, by weakening us against the terrorists -- just imagine the damage they will do with a Dem president for 8 years and teh judges who will be there for the next 40-50 years.

And if we elect RINOs, what will be our plan in future? As far as I can tell, the long-term effect of electing RINOs is to ensure that the Republicans of the future will be more leftist than the Democrats of today. And if we can't survive today's Democrats, we certainly won't be able to survive tomorrow's RINOs.

Do you realize that is precisely the GOP's game? Just throw up the fear of the dems, and they can get away with whatever they want. More entitlements? But the Dems are worse! More earmarks? But the Dems are worse! More federal involvement in education? But the dems are worse!(Meanwhile, by they way, the DNC does the same thing to the leftist base). I understand your point, but you must understand that Rudy will appoint the same kind of judges as Hillary so it's a false argument. You also have to understand that Rudy is just like Bill Clinton in the morals department. He has tons of skeletons in his closet.

Many of us have decided to not throw our principals over the side simply because our liberal dem is better than their liberal dem.

Besides, 1) The Dems WILL eventually retake the WH someday. 2) Carter gave us Reagan and Clinton gave us Bush (okay...no Reagan, but much better than Gore!).

I like your tone and your efforts to persuade, rather than insult people. But we need to come together behind someone who represents our party platform. Rudy opposes most of our traditional GOP platform that we've supported for the last thirty years.

On those same issues, they've been given to you ad infinitum, Rudy agrees with the Democrats. Not with us. He is a big city, liberal Republican. The people you disagree with here(and we are not your enemies) are not going to vote for the barely lesser of two evils this time.
