The number of poor, ignorant conservative heavy hitters who just don't seem to understand all of Rudy's liberal positions as well as the numerous Rudy bashers around here seems to be increasing every week. Hmmmm.
I don't pretend to be any kind of political guru, but I have a hard time thinking Rudy won't be the next president. I wish we had a conservative knight in shining armor who could win, but I don't see anyone who can get the nomination from Rudy.
And once it gets to the general election, Rudy is so much more likeable than Hillary- I don't think it will even be close between them.
Vitter said at a news conference, "Rudy has the strong unwavering leadership and sound judgment that we so clearly need in this time of war and terrorist threats".
I think we'll be blowing a great chance... the Dems seem hell-bent on crowning Queen Hillary.. but do you think that Bill has really "kept it zippered" since Monica? Of course not, and sometime next year some scandal or other is going to come out... but if what we have is Mr. Cheats-on-his-wife-in-their-house, we won't be able to use that against team Clinton - they (particularly HE) are oh-so-good at talking themselves out of trouble.

Sen. David Vitter said exactly what I have been thinking about Mr. Giuliani and his bid for president.
I saw him as mayor of NYC, and the only political ideology he was interested in pushing was the ideology of responsive conservative government.
The slander against him on Free Republic is mostly a caricature and mischaracterization of him for political purposes.
Ted Olson is on board.
Warm up the bandwagon.
A president Giuliani might appoint a lawyer Olsen to an opening on the Supreme Court - he could do worse......
Vitter and Olson get on the Rudy bandwagon; huh? Gee; how quickly people can become a political whore never ceases to amaze me.
