The number of poor, ignorant conservative heavy hitters who just don't seem to understand all of Rudy's liberal positions as well as the numerous Rudy bashers around here seems to be increasing every week. Hmmmm.

We would understand much better if he hadn't chosen to skip out on the first round of debates. However, avoiding tough questions seems to be the theme of this election.

I don't think Vitter or Olsen are "ignorant". However, I don't understand what the rush is for these "heavy hitters", as you call them,(and not just these two) to back a candidate this early. You would think they might be wise to keep their powder dry and withhold endorsements until all the candidates have declared.

Hmmmm. Sorry, but supporting Rudy in the primary disqualifies one from being legitimately described as a "conservative."

I guess there must be very few Pubbiess left on FR cause he was just killed in all the polls here. So...the GOP might like Rudy but then they liked Bob Dole too. That was brilliant, just a brilliant choice!

(Rudy's better than a communist with fat legs, but he's no conservative. Draft Thompson!)
