Six Islamic leaders who were removed from a US Airways flight say they'll sue the airline for discrimination. The Council on American-Islamic Relations says it will provide details on the lawsuit tomorrow at a Washington news conference.
Six imams returning to Phoenix from a religious conference in November were taken off a plane in Minneapolis, handcuffed, and questioned.
They had prayed in the airport before the flight, and after they boarded, a passenger who considered them suspicious passed a note to a flight attendant.

Yes, Phoenix is part of the 9th circuit, home of wacky liberal appellate judges. Honestly, though- a jury is going to flush this one down the toilet if it gets that far and appellate courts - even the 9th - usually show deference to juries.
CAIR = Saudi bankrolled trojan horse for the islamic takeover and destruction of christianity in the US.
preview of how PC is going to kill more Americans.
...so can me and five of my friends dress up in bed sheets and talk about the great influx of non Christians destroying our culture on the steps of a Mosque?
Or would that be "hateful"?
"barratry"
Thanks! Always nice to learn a new word!
I forgot to mention- we should arrange a reverse boycott of US Air- as long as they hold firm. I'll be buying my tickets from them in the future, as long as the prices are reasonably comparable.
The lawyers bankrolled by CAIR will make sure the jury is stacked with liberals.
The sonsuvbitches sure know how to piss folks off - don't they?
How long before all the political correctness is tossed - and we start responding to the bastards in a manner they have earned?

Yes, unfortunately Phoenix is in the 9th district.
I'd LOVE to be on that jury.
I'd LOVE for you to be on that jury....
;-)
Show some backbone!
"The lawyers bankrolled by CAIR will make sure the jury is stacked with liberals."
Doesn't really work that way- you can't "stack" a federal jury. You can exercise a limited number of peremptory challenges and challenge for cause, but the judge will make that call. Look, I know as well as anybody how unpredictable juries are, but to win this lawsuit they are going to have to have jurors unanimously agree that they were discriminated against and that just isn't going to happen. It will very likely be unanimous the other way- any American who flies in airplanes will side with US Air.
Seems to me that the passengers should sue the imams.
Now that you mention it...
heh
Ok lets see where CAIR files this lawsuit. At the beginning of the flight or the destination of the flight.
You jest?
Muslims are INSTRUCTED they may lie under ANY circumstances to an infidel - to save their own life or to further the cause of Islam...
Their oaths to "infidels" aren't worth any more than the breath it took for them to tell the lie...

One of these days. . . !
(We'll get people in government who are not afraid. They'll say, "We've had it with you people.. either you assimilate or we'll do it for you.")
