Duncan Hunter was on "Brien and the Judge" (Tony Snow's old radio show) today, talking about Iraq.

Amazing that we are even treating this anti-American, Islamofascists so humanely but we need to close down Gitmo because the world doesn't like it.

While Duncan Hunter has been working as a Congressman, supporting border security, the WOT, gun rights and opposing abortion for the past 5 years, Rudy has been on the lecture circuit just talking about it, and making big bucks.

"Strong national defense; contolled, enforceable border; bring back high paying manufacturing jobs that are going to communist China."
Amen! We didn't win the cold war with the USSR by engaging in free trade with them. We forced them into bankruptcy. Now we are contributing to the booming economy in China and in turn providing funds to build up their military machine. Is nothing sacred?

Hunter is on target!
When choosing a Commander in Chief, DH's military service puts him head and shoulders above all others.
Given the choices of candidates, I'd take Duncan Hunter in a New York minute!

Where oh where did I read that my old favorite, Rep. Henry Hyde, retired, endorses Duncan Hunter? Great article on "The Conservative Voice" today!

REFLECTIONS PROJECT REP. HENRY HYDE INTERVIEW JULY 16, 2006 [snip]
DOUGLASS: And do you think there are many statesmen in Congress?
HYDE: I think there are lots of potential statesmen. I think there are some pretty good people here, really outstanding. Duncan Hunter is a is a man of high principle [and] courage in a very tough job. Were lucky to have him.

YES!! Venerable Rep. Henry Hyde, retired, endorses Duncan Hunter for president! His endorsement solidifies my support for Hunter. Two true statesmen among todays juvenile reactionaries! God bless Henry Hyde. :o)
